  Had a really enjoyable time visiting today and was surprised at the variety of animals living here! Maya was a great help at giving out facts and describing the different personalities. Hopefully Ernie decides to share the next time we visit!

  Visited today with our autistic daughter. Got there for opening and they were very swift with opening on time. She doesn’t like the turtle talk and the staff were very accommodating in letting her skip this bit. The centre is lovely and quiet. It does get busy as it’s only small. But you can go back and forth as many times as you want, which is what we did. Lots of immersive experiences through the centre too.

  Ok. Took my 2.5 year old and he seemed to enjoy some parts - The glass tunnel was nice but short; the open tank was cool; play area gave some much needed respite from manoeuvring the pram as it was a little cramped and don't get me started on the extremely overpriced gift shop!

  The kids, both under 5, loved it. Therr was enough space to walk around without being crowded and other guests were equally respectful of space and waiting to stand in viewing corners and the kids immersing view tunnels. Staff were friendly and seemed like they actually enjoyed working there which makes a huge difference to an experience. Would recommend.

  It's ok if you're already at the Trafford centre but we drove an hour each way to come here, and the whole aquarium only takes an hour to get through. The price is very high for how long it is. EDIT - As it was mentioned in the reply, we did book in advance. £20 per person for an hour is still a hell of a lot. They get you together in a group of maybe 20 guests and make you watch a talk at the beginning, and then let you into the aquarium in a group, so you're all in the same place at the same time which is very annoying. Getting jostled by strangers and hit in the shins with prams the whole time is not my idea of a relaxing aquarium trip. Animals generally seem happy and well cared for which I guess is the most important thing at the end of the day!
