I watched Spiderman at Screen 1 on row E and the barrier in front of me obstructed my view; about 1/5th of the screen was covered on the bottom and required me to sit up straight to see it clear, and this is from someone with a taller than average torso. In the same row I noticed there was a shorter woman who seemed to have to put her head foward throughout the film just to get a good view, my guess is she could only see half the screen! If Odeon does a renovation they need to heighten the seats or lower the barrier by about 10-15cm.
But overall not too bad for an old cinema. The screen did look a bit small from Row E so I would choose to sit closer, such as where the premier seats are located at screen 1. Or a bit futher back as to avoid the barrier. Something to keep note of is that there are 2 cinemas so always check which one has your screen before you go.

This cinema is an embarrassment to the Odeon brand. A cinema that is stuck in the past and in desperate need of modernisation and a refurb. Small screens that make you feel like you are sat in someone's front living room from the 90s. I have been twice and have now decided to save my money and go elsewhere. It's a real a shame for Richmond!

Honestly, if I had the option to rate any lower I would! The screen is abysmal, the seating is shockingly uncomfortable, this is supposed to be an ODEON cinema, but it felt like a run down family owned theatre that was transformed into a cinema. My kids an I went to see Spiderman and I our seating had positioned them near the mid terrace walk way. They were barely able to see over the balcony wall. It's as though no body had considered that this would be an issue for children. I really hope they reconstruct the whole venue to a luxe, in order to meet customers expectations. Odeon in Uxbridge is your point of reference there. Very bad experience!!!!!!!!

I had such a lovely experience thanks to Karin and Rithika. From the moment my boyfriend and I walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel so welcome.
We were really excited to see Spider-Man, and I had seen on TikTok that one of the collectible cups featured a spiderweb design. I had my heart set on that specific one, but after checking the display, I couldn’t find it. Karin kindly offered to check in the back for me, and to my surprise, she managed to find one. It completely made my day!
While we were there, Rithika started a lovely conversation with us and kindly filled our cups. Both of them went above and beyond to make our visit special, and their friendliness and excellent customer service really stood out.
Thank you both for making our cinema trip even more memorable!

Unfortunately, this wasn't a great cinema experience for me.
The biggest issue was the temperature in Screen 3. The auditorium was uncomfortably hot and stuffy throughout the film, to the point where it felt more like sitting in a sauna than a cinema. I appreciate that it's summer and the UK is not equipped to deal with warm weather and air conditioning isn't always availablr, but some ventilation or fresh air would have made a huge difference. It was difficult to focus on the movie because I was constantly overheating.
I also found the screen to be on the smaller side, and the atmosphere wasn't ideal. There were several distractions from other audience members, including bright phone screens, flashlights, and general noise, which made it feel less like a cinema and more like watching a film in a busy living room. While I understand that the cinema can't control every guest's behaviour, it would be nice to see staff encourage better etiquette during screenings.
Overall, the combination of the heat, the small screen, and the disruptive audience made for a disappointing visit. I hope the ventilation issues in Screen 3 can be addressed, as I'd be hesitant to return, especially during the warmer months.
