Spent the whole film with teenagers talking laughing and shouting…my 8 year old daughter sat on chewing gum also so not a great experience…
Manager was super sweet and helpful and compensated us with plenty of apologies but defo more checks on cleanliness etc

Came here to watch the Michael movie today and the customer service was incredible. Especially Duckie, she was very attentive and helpful big thanks to her for making us feel so welcome and comfortable!

I came today to watch the new Mandalorian and Grogu film. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The film was brilliant and I’d definitely recommend it.

We come to Odeon Oldham every couple of weeks as I’m a big cinema person, and this time I came with my husband. I’ve never had off nachos in my life and have never experienced anything like this before. My husband didn’t go straight away as he didn’t want to miss the film, so he said he’d go when he needed the bathroom.
When he did go, I sent him to sort it as I still wanted nachos, and he came back saying Asif couldn’t do anything about it.
This completely ruined my whole experience. Odeon really need to work on their customer service skills because this just isn’t acceptable.

Customer service here is an absolute joke. I ordered two nachos for me and my wife, the first batch was perfectly fine and we shared it. The second batch, however, was clearly off, with some of the crisps being damp and not fresh at all.
I didn’t want to miss my film so I went back afterwards to sort it. I spoke to Asif who told me there was nothing he could do because they “only make the nachos and salsa”, which is completely false as I’ve worked at Odeon myself in the past and know how it works. He didn’t even try to offer any alternative. I understand businesses need to make money, but to say the crisps “come like that” and nothing can be done is just poor service.
When I worked at Odeon, if something like this happened, I would have at least offered a drink or something small so the customer didn’t leave with a bad experience. If I couldn’t resolve it myself, I would have involved a manager. When I asked for the manager, I was told he was “busy”.
After the film finished I walked past him while he was sat down and spoke to him again. He apologised and said he couldn’t do anything because the till was closed. That’s not even the point, I wasn’t asking for a refund, I simply wanted fresh nachos and was even willing to pay again if needed.
Overall a really poor experience. Situations like this should be handled much better and Asif clearly needs proper training on how to deal with customer issues
