- JKJean KnightJun 6, 20264.0We like everything about the Harrogate Odeon. The cleanliness, the atmosphere and the courteous staff. Today my daughter and I went to see ‘Michael’ in screen 1. The high volume of the adverts and pre film programmes was absolutely unbearable. It was so difficult to sit in comfort in the auditorium that we complained to a member of staff at the front desk. He explained that the volume IS loud before the feature film starts, but it would be reduced to a recommended level once the programme starts. This was in fact the case, and we enjoyed the film. We got the feeling we are not the first customers to complain of this extremely unpleasant and unnecessary experience. Please can the manager check on this problem.
- MMMaisyMay 30, 20261.0Horrible cinema, went in to watch a 15 rated movie and told needed ID (when I am over 15) and not allowed a refund, the cinema isn’t even all that it is old and needs refurbishing. Won’t be coming back anytime soon. Don’t waste your money.
- RGRobert GibsonMay 9, 20261.0The staff do absolutely nothing when kids are standing up screaming and jumping infront of the screen, recording on their phones with the lights on, had an absolutely awful time here last night. After complaining they still did absolutely nothing to try and stop it from happening again. This isn’t the first time it’s happened and I only go about twice a year. Definitely won’t be returning, I’ve never had such a stressful experience in a cinema
