  Very clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We upgraded our seats and they were very comfortable. Plenty of free parking. A few restaurants in the same park so able to make a date of it

  Formal Complaint I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the conduct of Esther, Dan, and the manager during a recent incident that I found completely unacceptable. A member of staff aggressively confronted a 15-year-old child and got directly into his face in a manner that was intimidating and threatening. Regardless of the circumstances, there is no justification for an adult employee to behave in such a way towards a minor. This conduct was entirely inappropriate and caused unnecessary distress. What is equally concerning is the response from Esther, Dan, and the manager. Rather than addressing the seriousness of the situation or acknowledging that the behaviour was unacceptable, they appeared to support and defend the actions of the employee involved. At no point was there any indication that they recognised how inappropriate it was for a staff member to confront a 15-year-old in such an aggressive manner. When I requested their names in order to make a formal complaint, I was met with a dismissive attitude rather than any willingness to resolve the issue professionally. The overall conduct displayed by those involved was unreasonable, unprofessional, and lacking in basic standards of customer service. I find it extremely disappointing that a situation involving the intimidation of a minor was not handled with greater care, professionalism, or accountability. Staff members and management should be expected to act responsibly, particularly when dealing with young people, and the behaviour demonstrated during this incident fell well below an acceptable standard. I request that this complaint be investigated thoroughly and that appropriate action be taken. I would also appreciate a formal response outlining the outcome of your investigation and the steps that will be taken to ensure that incidents of this nature do not happen again.   I am an avid cinema-goer and regularly attend screenings across multiple cinema chains. I also frequently leave online reviews, usually focusing on the quality of the films rather than the venue itself. Unfortunately, this experience was so poor that I feel compelled to formally complain about the standard of service provided. We paid £42.48 for IMAX tickets, which is already a premium price that sets an expectation of a premium experience. On top of that, we spent a further £19.94 on food and drinks because we actively wanted to support the business during our visit. What followed was nothing short of chaotic, disorganised, and embarrassingly unprofessional. After placing our order via the screens as instructed, we went to the very clearly marked “Collect Food and Drinks” area and waited there for approximately 10 minutes. When our order number never appeared, I approached a staff member for assistance, only to be spoken to in a rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily hostile manner. Rather than attempting to help, the employee immediately implied we were in the wrong place despite us following the cinema’s own signage. The attitude of the staff member was completely unacceptable. I understand cinemas can become busy, especially during sold-out IMAX screenings, but if staff are unable to cope under pressure without taking their frustration out on paying customers, that is a serious management and training issue. I was then sent to another counter where a second staff member informed me the order was not even appearing on their system. We were then forced to wait a further 10 minutes while the drinks were eventually made manually. By this point, a significant portion of the pre-film experience had been wasted purely because of poor organisation and incompetent service. For nearly £65 spent in a single visit, the level of service we received was frankly appalling. Customers paying premium prices should not be treated as an inconvenience for simply asking where their order is after standing in the designated collection area for 10 minutes. What is most disappointing is that I regularly choose Odeon as my preferred cinema chain. However, after this experience, particularly the rude behaviour, lack of professionalism, and complete disorganisation from staff, I will now be seriously reconsidering whether to continue visiting Odeon at all. There are other IMAX venues available, and based on this experience, I would struggle to justify returning.
