Went to see Paddington Bear the musical, even in this hot weather the theatre was relatively cool. The show was excellent from start to finish with the whole cast in fine voice. Would thoroughly recommend buying tickets to see the show but purchase well in advance (months) to ensure you get some!!

Great venue. Helpful staff. Clean toilets. Comfy seats. Paddington was a fantastic show but its a great venue for any show they put on. Air-conditioning worked well in the middle of red heat warning. It wasn't cold but surprisingly good for a full venue in the middle of such heat.

Myself and my family went to see Paddington, a few weeks prior to this i had to have unplanned surgery on my leg which left me having to use crutches
The staff were fabulous, helped me to my seat and ensured that I was OK and comfortable through the performance then at the end of the show ,assisted me to leave by an easier less crowded exit
They were attentive and understanding absolutely fantastic

Visiting the Savoy Theatre was much more than simply attending a show—it was an experience in itself. From the moment I stepped inside, I could feel the history, elegance, and magic that have made this theatre one of London’s most iconic venues for over a century.
The stunning interior, beautiful architecture, and warm atmosphere immediately set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Knowing that this was the world’s first public building to be lit entirely by electricity made me appreciate just how groundbreaking this theatre has been throughout its history.
Watching Paddington: The Musical here felt extra special. The combination of spectacular sets, crystal-clear acoustics, breathtaking choreography, and world-class performances created a truly magical experience. Every seat seemed to be part of the action, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy.
💡 Helpful Tips for Visitors:
✔️ Arrive at least 30 minutes early to admire the theatre and take photos.
✔️ Consider booking centre stalls seats for the best overall view.
✔️ Allow time to explore the surrounding Strand area before the show.
✔️ Visit the nearby Savoy Hotel and the Thames Embankment for a complete London experience.
✔️ Check theatre policies regarding bags and photography before arriving.
The Savoy Theatre perfectly combines history, elegance, and modern entertainment. Whether you’re a theatre lover or a first-time visitor, it is a place that leaves a lasting impression and makes any West End performance feel even more magical. ✨❤️

My son and I visited on 11th May 2026 to see Paddington. I am disabled and booked the tickets through accessible scheme. We arrived over an hour before opening, went to front of the queue and the usher called for the accessible team to come and greet us and another party of 2 american ladies. Joe was the accessiblity member that came to greet us. He was lovely and so friendly, he walked us around to the back entrance so we had step free access. By the entrance we gained a very frail old lady who had lost her party. She hung on to my son and he assisted her to the entrance. Bless she didn't know where she was sitting and didn't have her ticket. Joe radioed through for someone to find her party and she stayed with us whilst they were found. Joe then took us to our seats, introduced us to Chloe another accessible attendant and both of them went out of their way to make sure we were looked after and had everything we needed. Chloe fetched us drinks and Joe sorted out our programme. (Will review show seperately) After the show Joe took the American couple out and we waited for him to come back and sort us out. The theatre was nearly empty when he came back for us. He asked if I could do a few steps or wanted to back the way we came. I said fine with a few steps, so he took us out via the stage door. Bonnie Langford was just coming out so he asked her if she would have a chat and do pictures with my son. She happily obliged and my son was in his element. He then took us up the steps and back to the strand. Both Joe and Chloe were a credit to the Savoy and went out of their ways to look after us giving us a wonderful experience! Bravo 👏 👏 to them both and hope Savoy realise what little diamonds they have. We saw 3 shows over 4 days in London and they way exceeded the accessible service we received at the other theatres, they are a very hard act to follow!
