  Writing ★☆☆☆☆ — £71 for a Seat, Forced to Stand for 2 Hours 45 Minutes. Absolutely Disgraceful! I attended Moulin Rouge at Piccadilly Theatre on 12 October 2026 and experienced the worst customer service I have ever encountered at a West End theatre. I paid £71 for a seated ticket, only to find that my seat had been double-booked. I ended up standing throughout the entire 2-hour-45-minute show, despite standing tickets costing just £24! To make matters worse, a staff member repeatedly disturbed me, dragged me around different seating areas and even suggested I wait in a lounge watching television. Seriously? I paid to see a live musical! His behaviour was so disruptive that an elderly couple complained, yet he actually argued with them! I first attended Moulin Rouge on 12 November 2021, its first day of performances in London, and have now seen it three times. I am a returning customer, not a casual walk-in. This was by far my worst experience. I have requested a refund of the £47 difference. Frankly, a full refund would be justified. A prestigious West End theatre charging premium prices should be utterly ashamed of this level of service. I will update this review to reflect how management responds to my complaint.

  Welcome to the Moulin Rouge. !!! The show was fantastic. All the actors, the singing, the vocal talent on display was incredibly engaging. The theater itself is a staple for London and Soho. I have been to many shows across the city, and this was one of my favorite to date. Three hours just flies! The staff are always very friendly, as to other drinks. Brava!!

  It was an amazing show. The actors have a lot of talent, beautiful voices and professionalism. The production contributed a lot to the magic with the lights and sparkling. The whole team behind does also an important job and we really enjoyed it. The play is not a burlesque show, it is a musical where they sing famous songs according to the scene while they tell the story of the characters behind this cabaret.

  10 out of 10 – absolutely spectacular! An excellent theatre and a truly fantastic production. We sat in Row B, very close to the stage, which made the whole experience even more exciting and immersive. The performance from the entire cast was remarkable. Karis Anderson as Satine was outstanding – a wonderful performer with a superb voice – and Alistair Brammer as Christian was equally brilliant. Their singing, acting and chemistry together were exceptional. The whole production is full of energy and atmosphere from beginning to end. The sets and décor are spectacular, the costumes are beautiful, and the music and choreography create an incredible vibe throughout the theatre. The entire cast gives everything to the performance, and being so close to the stage allowed us to appreciate just how talented they all are. A fabulous evening and one of the most enjoyable West End shows we have seen. Highly recommended – a definite 10/10.
