The cinema is okay and i think that is ultimately the problem. It feels as though it has not kept up with the times and feels somewhat forgotten about, evidenced by the drab interiors and stained and tired seats in the auditorium. Staff are always pleasant and professional so no issue there, but the ticket prices are incredibly high - as are the food prices - but not reflected in either the experience or the food, as I have on at least three different occasions receieved stale tasting popcorn. When compared to the feel and aesthetic of cineworld it is clearly lacking, and when compared to vue, when considering what you pay for a trip to odeon, you are clearly being price gouged. Lastly, for some odd reason which is not clear to me, odeon has started keeping some lights on during films, which somewhat detracts from the immersion. 2.5 stars would probably be most apt for what is a 'meh' outing experience, but in the absence of this scoring, I leave it with 3 stars.

Very disappointing experience at ODEON Wimbledon. The movie started from the middle instead of the beginning, so we missed a significant part of the film. On top of that, there was no proper air conditioning and the sound quality was very poor.
Overall, a terrible cinema experience. Very disappointing and definitely not what you expect from ODEON.

First time in years that I have been to an odeon cinema and I won’t be rushing back anytime soon. Good sound and screen quality but there is nothing premier about the seats. I had a numb bum and a pain in my back. Luckily, the movie was under two hours otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed until the end.

Cinema staff need to be stricter on late arrivals and bad behaviour from cinema-goers.
A movie experience was soured by bad behaviour.
The showtime was 6pm.
People were arriving at 7pm.
What's worse is that these late arrivals turned the torches on their phones and start shining them down each row of seats looking for where they've booked...
Then once they found their seats, the torches stayed on and they remained stood up as they shed their bags, sweets, drinks, then straightened themselves out before slowly lowering themselves into the seat *whilst the film is playing - twenty minutes in.*
Then we have people talking, laughing and fidgeting throughout the film.
We have people who brought bags of KFC into the cinema with them.
We have people filming the cinema screen.
We have people scrolling on TikTok whilst the film is playing.
We have people going to the toilet but taking their sweet time leaving and their sweet time sitting back down.
And I am going out of my mind!
The tickets cost around £15+ each.
I know cinema staff don't get paid enough to play "bouncer" with these people but we need to bring back the rules we had 10-20 years ago.
Late arrival = no admittance
Outside food = Bag of M&Ms, fine. Full back of KFC. No!
On your phone? Talking? Get out!
This is why people don't want to the cinema anymore.
Also - Odeon, turn your ceiling lights off when playing the movie. The projection is made more cloudy/milky because of it.

No air conditioning, and the temperature inside the screening room felt like it was around 30–35°C. It was unbearably hot and uncomfortable; people were actually leaving the film because of the heat, and I struggled to breathe myself.
We paid £30 but had no choice but to walk out after only 20 minutes. We were really looking forward to watching the new Spider-Man movie, but I was not willing to risk my son’s or my own health by staying in those conditions.
The cinema also desperately needs a major overhaul. The equipment feels dated, the seats look like they are from the 1980s, and the picture quality is often blurry. Charging full cinema prices while providing such poor and potentially unsafe conditions is simply unacceptable.(Screen 11)
