Odeon Streatham is, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing cinema experiences I’ve had in years.
The first thing you notice is how tired and unclean the place feels. For a cinema, where people are paying specifically to sit comfortably and immerse themselves in a film, the overall standard of cleanliness is surprisingly poor. It feels neglected.
The bigger issue, though, is the auditorium itself. Somehow the lights were left far brighter than they should have been during the movie. I didn’t pay to watch a film under office lighting. Half the point of going to the cinema is being drawn into the screen, and that’s difficult when the room never seems to get properly dark.
The staff didn’t improve the experience. Interactions felt indifferent at best, and whenever assistance was needed, there was very little confidence that the issue would actually be understood or resolved. Customer service shouldn’t feel like you’re inconveniencing the people whose job it is to help customers.
The whole place gives the impression of a cinema that has simply stopped caring. Poor cleanliness, distracting lighting, and underwhelming customer service combine to create an experience that makes you wonder why you didn’t just stay home and watch the film on your sofa.
I genuinely can’t recommend it.

The staff were polite and approachable! But the venue is VERY DATED. Compared to Vue or everyman the screen hall had a smell of sweat and was stuffy no ventilation. The floor even felt sticky. Of course I can't complain about people but letting people still access a screen hall even 20+ minutes into the movie starting is disturbing other people's experience. And the worst they kept talking, getting up and really ruining our experience all together. This was a last minute choice but even my partner was like remind me to never go Stretham again. It wasn't the best experience.

It's a very old picture house, I went there as it's closest, there was 10 people including us, I don't think the sound quality was great, I kept hearing which I can only describe as thunder coming through one of the speakers, I thought at first it was on the film but it wasn't. Next time I'll go to Wimbledon or Wandsworth.

Cool small cinema, not very crowded as I like it, price quite reasonable but DO NOT BUY THE HOTDOG, it was soo soggy and horrible taste, Popcorn as cinema standard but quite overly priced compared to the Vue. If I could choose I would still rather go to the Vue than Odeon too be sincere
