  Horrible, i had 2 tickets to watch The Odyssey on IMAX 70mm at 2pm. I get there for 2pm and they tell me they moved up the 2pm showing to 1pm and didnt bother to inform me! They refunded me the tickets but what about my travels costs as i travllled from far and wasted my time and my whole day. Couldnt even watch a later showing as i was working a night shift that day. I was so excited to watch the film and you ruined my entire day.

  Since my childhood in the 1970s I have seen many legendary classic films here at this amazing cinema when they first came out. My favourites are James Bond's The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977 and Moonraker in 1979, The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, Ghostbusters in 1984, Terminator 2 Judgement Day in 1991, and Independence Day in 1996. Wonderful memories. I've been dozens of times over the past 47 years. It's a great historic cinema right in the heart of London's West End.

  Booked based in the booking graphics as they show a massive, wall-to-wall screen — total false advertising. The actual screen is small and underwhelming, nowhere near the scale shown when selecting seats. If I’d seen the real thing beforehand, I would never have paid the premium price for this screen. It’s marketed as second only to IMAX in scale and immersion, promising a big, cinematic experience. The reality is a small-sized screen with poor projection quality. nothing about it felt premium or “immersive.” The auditorium also crams in a huge number of seats, which made for a chaotic start — people were using phone torches to find their seats after the lights went off ruining the experience for the rest.

  I haven’t been to this cinema for nearly 20 years. And there I was sitting through The Odyssey in a fully packed cinema with no air recycling or air conditioning system to speak of. My friend and I were sweating for the whole 3 hours, I even considered going out for a few minutes half way through the film to get some fresh air. I have no idea how something like this is even allowed as it certainly isn’t healthy. Other than that, why did I have to show our tickets to three different people to get to my film?

  I really did not like coming here at all. The lettering on the floors to get to your seats needs to be brighter or bigger, the amount of phone lights we had shining in our eyes for the first 15 minutes of the film really annoyed me. I didn’t even know what was going on in the film I had just paid £20 to see! Also there needs to be someone in the screen or at least watching what is going on in the room, we had a groups of people just moving up and and down, changing their seats, completely ruining the experience. If you're sat in the upper levels of the screen, when anyone gets up it basically blocks the whole screen for you, so people moving up and down switching seats, trying to find a better seat for the first half of the movie was extremely annoying. This made me feel so distracted. Someone should have spotted it and either helped them to their seat or told them they have to accept their allocated seat they bought, especially in a packed out screening. Also the screen is so small for such a giant room and the speakers sounded like they were just in front of us, rather than around or behind. The 1 star is for the seat as it was comfortable and there was decent leg room. Wouldn’t come here if you are seeing a movie you’ve been excited for and waited a while for as it will just ruin it for you.
