Amazing show, Jersey Boys was absolutely fantastic as always, I have seen it around 20 times. I travelled from Scotland down to London for the weekend to see some shows. The New Wimbledon Theatre was nice, the staff were very friendly, however what I will say is, there is no air conditioning and it was 35° outside so the temperature inside was a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, there were only 2 female toilets so there was a constant queue to use the toilet and they were down some stairs where people were queuing all the way up, the cubicles were tiny and the sinks were awkwardly in a small space too, where it was difficult to wash hands without getting in the way of the queue of people. The bar was good, service was reasonably quick and the staff were lovely, prices were average for a theatre. Lastly, I would like to add, although it is not directly the theatres fault, the show was unfortunately ruined for me as a couple sitting directly behind me spoke to each other with loud voices throughout the whole performance, it was disturbing and upsetting everyone nearby but there were no staff that stepped in and told them to be respectful of people spending a lot of money to watch and enjoy the show, and there was noone nearby to catch their attention either which was disappointing as I did not fancy confrontation by speaking up myself during a performance, so it spoiled a brilliant show for me and many others I am sure.
Very nice classic theatre.
Decent view from close to the back of the dress circle.
No air-conditioning, so bring a fan on a heat wave

20 June 26 - left Jersey Boys at interval and did not return. Row K in stalls - excessive heat in theatre. Absolutely miserable inside. Thank you NWJ for the expensive experience.

Extremely disappointed with today’s experience at this theatre. Not only was it absolutely boiling inside the theatre, I was disgusted to see how those with accessibility needs were treated. My mother who has a walking stick and access card to say she cannot stand for long periods was made to stand for nearly 40 mins today in a boiling hot and cramped corridor.
The staff refused to open the stalls until 15 mins before the show (I am an avid theatre goer and this is almost unheard of, most open at 2pm latest). By this point she was in so much pain that she was unable to enjoy what was a fantastic show, this also ruined the experience for myself as I spent the whole time worrying. She could not even get herself in a black cab after without assistance as she was in so much pain from this.
At the end of the show, there was just as much organisation as there was at the beginning of the show (none). Staff told us we couldn’t use this exit (despite it being the accessible one and my mum quite clearly having a stick and struggling to walk). We then turned around and noticed everyone was using this exit after all so we could have easily of used it.
Seats were very uncomfortable as well as the heat.
Only good thing I can say is the deliver to seats were very good and of course the show itself (Annie) was amazing. That said, I do not think we will return to this theatre as they do not cater well for those with accessible needs. Another lady with a walking stick sat next to my mum also struggled throughout so sadly not just us.
