Great cinema with a convenient location, great bus connections and air con (which is extra lovely in a heat wave). However, they play the films sooo loud. I have to wear earplugs every time I go to film here. It is not necessary for the volume to be this painfully loud. I wish they would turn it down a bit.

This was our second visit to Odeon Greenwich. On our first visit we found the layout quite confusing, although on this occasion we knew where we were going and had no problems finding our screen. Unfortunately, the cinema itself still feels like it could do with some renovation and better maintenance. The escalator from the first floor to the upper level was out of service, leaving the choice between the lift and a rather grim staircase that felt more like something you'd find in a car park than in a modern cinema. It wasn't a great start to the experience. The biggest issue was in our screen while watching Disclosure Day. There was a fly or moth near the projector, and it was being projected onto the cinema screen. During the adverts, trailers and the first part of the film, we could see a large insect shape moving around on the screen, which was quite distracting. It also made us wonder whether screens are being checked regularly before performances begin. My wife also found the audio volume uncomfortably loud throughout the screening. I appreciate that cinema sound is intended to be immersive, but it felt louder than necessary and detracted from our enjoyment of the film. The film itself was enjoyable, but between the broken escalator, the distracting issue with the projector and the excessive volume, the cinema felt a little tired and not as well maintained as it could be 🪰🪰🪰

The place itself is okay. There are a lot of screens and there are all in pretty good state. There's a lack of cleanliness at times (but that's more on customers being nasty and making cleaning staff's job difficult), the elevator is often out of service which is quite inconvenient because their lift is extremely slow, some of the screens have bright lights on even during the movies and the staff at the door is usually hit and miss, most can't even be bothered to say hello or be polite in general. Overall if you're just there to watch a movie you should be fine, just don't expect customer services to be great and be prepared to have to climb a couple sets of stairs most of the time.

Shoes on seats and declining conduct standard: People have a bad habit to kick their shoes up directly on the seatpads and seatbacks which is extremely unhygienic for the next guests who will book that seat unknowingly, and disturbing for the experience of those watching with them. Scanning personnel were unfriendly and dismissive when I kindly requested to raise this concern with your management. Please address your declining conduct standards as staff oversight has become very disengaged. Also disrespectul behaviour is frequently observed here where inconsiderate individuals come to this ODEON cinema and seem to have fun in causing a mess and loud disruptions during the cinema experience for others.

Visited Odeon Greenwich with my siblings to watch a 15-rated film. At entry, I was asked for ID and provided my provisional driving licence, however my sisters were also asked for ID and were told passports were required, which they did not have, so we were refused entry. We were then advised to either exchange tickets or request a refund. At the counter, I was advised to switch to another film. During this process, there were repeated administrative errors where tickets were refunded instead of being exchanged, which caused confusion and resulted in multiple payment attempts. When the manager became involved, the situation was handled poorly. Communication was unclear, the issue was not properly explained, and it escalated unnecessarily in front of other customers. I was told I would need to pay again despite the earlier processing errors, which made the situation more confusing and frustrating. Overall, the experience was disorganised and poorly managed, mainly due to repeated staff mistakes and ineffective communication. I would expect a more professional and consistent process from a cinema.
