The Create Place

The Create Place is a non-profit venture of St. Margaret's House. It is launch pad for starting a creative project that benefits your community and a space for creative people to be together, to share skills, to create, and to have fun. We are home to a variety of arts and crafts workshops, with an ever-expanding variety of themes, offering introductions to painting and drawing, clothes making and repair, printing, embroidery and shoemaking. We offer a choice of free art materials and craft equipment as well as a comfortable space away from the burdens of ordinary life. These sessions are facilitated by people in our local community, and we see many of them as a route to wellbeing, putting individual expression at the core.
