I went to watch 'Toy Story 5' today 27/6 (Screen 10), and the experience was truly terrible. There was absolutely no air conditioning in the auditorium, making it so stuffy that I kept falling asleep. Sitting there for two hours was pure torture. As a cinema, failing to maintain a basic comfortable temperature is completely unacceptable, and I hope the management addresses this issue immediately." It is worth noting that this is not an isolated incident, as previous feedback for ODEON Liverpool One has highlighted similar complaints regarding the temperature being "BOILING HOT

I recently visited Odeon Liverpool One and unfortunately had to leave the film after just 15 minutes. The cinema was unbearably hot with little to no air-conditioning working at all. Within minutes I was sweating and extremely uncomfortable, to the point where watching the rest of the film was impossible. I had paid extra for a premium seat, but it really wasn’t worth the money. The seat felt worn and offered no additional comfort to justify the upgrade. The whole cinema looked dirty and clearly in need of a refurbishment – grubby carpets, tired decor, and a general sense of neglect. What made it worse was the complete lack of any warning about the air-conditioning failure. No one mentioned it when we bought tickets or entered the screen. That’s very poor customer service – customers deserve to know in advance so they can decide whether it’s worth staying. Overall, this was a hugely disappointing experience that completely ruined what should have been a nice evening out. The heat, lack of warning, and poor state of the venue made it impossible to enjoy. I won’t be returning to this branch until they sort out the basics.

Yesterday was the hottest day of the year. Going to the cinema seemed a wise choice. Inside with aircon and a great film. Only there was no air con, it’s sweltering. Drinks are over priced. I bought a snack bundle online and my husband had to go back and get the rest of the order as they didn’t give him it. Almost £50 for the film and snacks- we couldn’t eat the snacks as it was so hot and almost left before the film ended because of the heat. I’ve never been to a cinema that didnt have aircon and I won’t be back to this one!

Visited an Odeon screening today and was disappointed by the standard of the cinema. The seats were visibly dirty, with food debris and stains that suggested they hadn’t been cleaned in some time. On top of that, there was no air conditioning, making the screen uncomfortably warm throughout the film. For the price of a ticket, this falls well short of what I’d expect. I hope management addresses both the cleanliness and the climate control, as it genuinely affected my experience.

Following my visit it was clear that this cinema seriously struggled to maintain a decent standard of cleanliness. In the ladies bathrooms, most stalls had run out of toilet roll, didn’t flush, and had water on the floor- feeling generally grubby and I noticed that they weren’t replenished for over an hour despite busy Saturday hours. When I saw another lady go to complain, she was rudely interrupted by a member of staff who simply dismissed her saying cleaners were ‘on it’ although there were no cleaners around. The rubbish bins outside the screens were also overflowing with rubbish ending up on the surrounding floor and windowsill. They seemed generally understaffed and this unfortunately tarnished what would’ve been an otherwise enjoyable visit. Hopefully these problems will be addressed.
