Poor quality screen and lighting
Poor quality seats, even in premium
Poor quality walls (You can hear the other films playing next to you if the film you are watching has a quiet scene)
Basically run down, and compared to The Arc or Vue, Odeon isn't the best.
The 2 staff that served me were the only reason I gave the 2 stars

Showing itself was fine, screen brightness sound clear. However, the seats we booked literally had holes in them and no fabric covering parts with just exposed foam, the whole room just had an odd smell to it too. Clearly the seats need replacing.
Luckily for us there was no one else sat on our row and we were able to move down and fond better seats although that was still a struggle as many other seats had the same issue.

I had a great experience at ODEON Cinemas. The cinema was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with spacious seating and excellent sound and picture quality. Booking tickets online was quick and convenient, and the staff were friendly and efficient when checking us in. The screens were modern, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. There was a good selection of snacks and drinks, and the whole visit felt well organised. It’s a fantastic place to watch the latest films, whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or on your own. Highly recommended for a great cinema experience.

The screen we were in was quite small which was good, we paid for the premium seats if which there were three rows; however, the 2 rows in front of us were also premium seats, we had seats on the back row but the elevation between the rows was not very great so if a tall person sat in front of you it might be a problem, on this occasion it wasn't. The Odeon was very clean and tidy and the staff very helpful and friendly. The toilets were also very clean too.

I visited this cinema on bank holiday Monday to watch "Michael". I've been to ODEON an array of times in the past, and its always looked the same. From some research it's not had a refurb in over a decade (2014) compared to Vue, which is down the road, there is the clear better cinema (Vue). The food prices are expensive at every cinema so I have nothing much to say about that. The lobby area has looked the same for as long as I can remember aside from a few extra TV's on the walls and is mostly clean inside. The seat quality is not great to say the least, however for a cheap price of £4.50 - £5.50 I can't complain too much but it could definitely be better, for the back and neck too. The screen quality was fine, at least in the auditorium I was in, however the lights in the room never fully turn off. Tickets are easy to book online, and quickly to check in with a QR scan on your phone. Would I visit this cinema again? Yes, only for the cheap seat prices and because its closer to home, not because its comfortable. Could it use refurbishment? Most definitely, yes it could.
