  Online booking didn’t go through, but I got charged anyway. Receipt came through an hour later, by which time I’d already made plans to go to another cinema. I’ve been charged £27 for a showing I could never attend!!!

  Absolutely appalling experience. We booked a film to escape the heat, only to find the air conditioning in the screen wasn’t working. The auditorium was unbearably hot and uncomfortable, to the point where we had to walk out before the film had even really got going. I appreciate that we were given a refund, but the screen should never have been open to customers in those conditions. It was far too hot to sit through a two-hour film, and I genuinely think it’s a health and safety concern, especially for elderly customers, children, or anyone with a medical condition. It was really disappointing as it was one of the few evenings we’d planned to go out and do something nice together, and the whole experience was ruined. I hope the issue is fixed quickly because this simply isn’t acceptable.

  Top of the line cinema for new movies complete with lean back and comfy seating arrangements that suits everyone need. Top notch audio-visual delivery of movies.

  I took the kids to see Sheep Detectives on a Saturday morning. The recliner chairs are great and there was only around 8 other people in the whole cinema. I don't know how these places keep going tbh.

  A review of ODEON LUXE Maidstone. Poor service and concessions quality – 11:30 showing of The Mandalorian and Grogu on 29/05/26 (Screen 8, seats D11-12) Dear Odeon Customer Service, I recently visited your cinema with my young son for the 11:30am showing of The Mandalorian and Grogu on Saturday 29th May 2026 in Screen 8 (seats D11-12). While there were some excellent aspects to our visit, unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing due to poor customer service and substandard food and drink. Positives: • The screen and sound quality were genuinely outstanding – easily the best I’ve experienced in a long time. This is the main reason I wanted to try Odeon. • The recliner seats were very comfortable, and my son had a lot of fun adjusting them. • The kids combo offered good value for money and my son was happy with it. Issues: • Upon arrival in the foyer, a member of staff followed us and asked for our tickets with no greeting or welcome. • At the concessions tills, no staff were initially available. They appeared to be busy breaking down cardboard boxes. When a staff member finally approached, he walked straight past us to the far end till. I had to ask if we should come over to him. The service was rushed and lacked any friendliness or smile, which was noticeably different from the service I usually receive at Cineworld or Showcase. • The large popcorn I ordered was clearly old and stale. Lots pieces had an unpleasant chemical taste, making most of it inedible. • The large Dr Pepper with cherry was served warm. Even with ice, it was lukewarm by the time I took my first sip and became very unpleasant once the ice melted. Because of these issues, I will be returning to my usual cinemas (Cineworld or Showcase) for future visits despite the impressive screen and sound. I wanted to make you aware of this experience as I believe these are basic standards that should be met, especially given Odeon’s premium pricing.
