  I've been to this venue 3 times now and 2 out of those 3 times, the show has had to stop mid way through. First time it happened was due to the barrier not being built in place properly, meaning it was tipping over almost resulting in the first few rows of people collapsing along with the barrier which could have become a very serious problem. We had to wait around 15/20 minutes for it to be bolted in place properly and the show carried on as normal but was still pretty unnerving. Then I attended don broco last night and towards the end of the set, the band had to stop playing as they noticed someone in the crowd had passed out. Thats when the staff started handing out water but not enough to get it all handed out to the entire crowd. It shouldn't have taken for someone to pass out for the staff to start handing out water, and not even much of it. I attend a lot of gigs, mostly in London and handing out water by staff is always a given and enough is usually handed out to pass around to majority of the people attending the show. Then the show carried on but had to come to a stop again as someone else had either gotten injured or passed out, I dont know the full details but it was serious enough to completely end the show there. I really love that there is a venue in kent putting on these kind of shows but I really think the venue and the staff need a lot more training on how to make these shows more safe for the people attending. I dont feel very confident coming back here if I'm completely honest which is sad because I love not having to travel to london to see a band I really like. Please look into more training and how to make this venue more appropriate for heavier shows.

  The Venue is visibly falling apart in places and generally unpleasant and uncomfortable, if whatever you wish to see can be seen anywhere else I would avoid seeing it here.

  £3.25 for a 250ml bottle of still water!!! Daylight robbery The vebue is dated and the walls have peeling places but folkestone is lucky to have a music venue like this just wish the drinks were not such a rip off

  We went to see an improv murder mystery which was hilarious but the venue itself is beautiful and vast. Staff were mega helpful when we turned up a bit late and even found us better seats than the ones we'd paid for. Tip unless you're right in front of the stage, you won't get the greatest view. Pay the extra, it's worth it

  We had a fantastic evening. The staff were brilliant as always. We went to see the tribute band for ELO. They were brilliant and well worth every penny. Looking forward to seeing them again next year. Thankfully the car park payment system is now more efficient than when we went to see Fishermans friends. We would highly recommend this venue.
