Staying Safe Together
The following measures will be in place at our cinemas for your safety, well being and enjoyment.
A safer space
We’re limiting the number of seats for sale for each film and guaranteeing unoccupied seats between parties to meet social distancing requirements.
We are also staggering the show start times to reduce queues and operating safe queuing measures with floor markings and cinema host support.
Safer buying
We recommend you book online for a contactless experience with all ticket checks conducted visually only.
We’re also offering a range of pre-packaged food and drinks, with contactless till payments.
Enhanced cleaning
We’ll have more frequent and more thorough cleaning routines throughout the cinema, with extra controls in all toilet facilities.
Stations offering sanitising gels and wipes with our compliments will be available at allocated points.
In the care of a well-trained team
All cinema teams have been trained on the new safety and hygiene measures.
Colleagues will be equipped with personal protective equipment - including face coverings and gloves.

Hatfield Odeon is a clean and well-kept cinema with kind, friendly and helpful staff. The screens are large, and there are plenty of showings throughout the week and at weekends, so there’s lots of choice when deciding what to watch.
I also love that they have Saver Mondays, which means you can watch films for cheaper every Monday, which is a great way to save some money. Parking is also free after 6pm, and the cinema is easy to find and park at.
There is a good selection of food and drinks available, and they also sell posters and other merchandise from previous film screenings, which is a nice touch for anyone who likes collecting cinema memorabilia.
The main downside is that there is no ice available for the self-serve drinks, which is a bit disappointing. The toilets could also do with a bit of an update, as they are looking a little dated.
Food and drinks are also expensive, although this is pretty standard for cinemas nowadays.
Overall, a really good cinema with large screens, plenty of film showings, friendly staff and some good ways to save money. It’s easy to get to, and the free evening parking is a great bonus.

Well that was a complete write off.
Felt like 1955s Butlins. Never before have I left a cinema before the trailers started.
Odeon cinema in Hatfield.
The place smelt like an abandoned charity shop.
Felts like ive been licking mould off a 1970s caravan wall.
Bet that place hasn't been updated since they played Charlie Chapplin films.
