  Usual odeon. Mobile signals not great in this area, seats do not all recline. However helpful friendly staff and a clean premises.

  Just been to see toy story 5 with kids and had a good evening. Prices much cheaper than what we're used to but this cinema does lack the comfort of reclining seats and it was particularly hot in there, but with the weather we've been having that's not surprising.

  I went to see Spider-Man, sick of paying to park in GQ I felt that odeon had it all, premium seats, same experience, paying the relatively the same amount for the same foods. Boy was I wrong, premium seats? It felt like I was sat on a slide, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and switched seats with my son, the same thing happened to that seat, I thought maybe it was just me, fifteen minutes later my daughter complained about the same thing… I cannot stress enough how much this put me off enjoying the film, feeling like I had to adjust myself every. Five. Seconds. Through fear of ending up on the floor, the whole row shook everytime I had to move, as I glanced around we were the only ones using the premium seats, so either everyone knows about this and has been duped before, or they’re all just in the mindset that a seats a seat, but I saw no one else apart from my family having to constantly adjust. Next time I’ll bring a jack… or my own seat… or I’ll just pay to park in gunwharf and enjoy the recliners.

  Screens are not great but the worst was the heat in the room. For some reason the AC was not working. They offered to change me to the next screening for Spiderman but I specifically had chosen a screening that had subtitles since I’m not a native English speaker. Anyways, I was stuck with the original booking and it felt like a sauna in there. Also, the popcorn is super overpriced and it’s not even freshly popped. It’s chewy popcorn that’s been sitting there for the whole day or several days. Charging 6.99 pounds for popcorn that’s is not even freshly popped is not a flex. Anyways, I’m not buying popcorn there ever again and I’m doubting I will return to this cinema.
