  Poor atmosphere in the entire foyer, no audible music or film theme songs playing. Waited to be served at a till and was directed to the self serve kiosks which had longer queues, glitchy systems and faulty chip and pin. When collecting food (which is a ridiculous system and does not show quality/attentive experience at all) it was a free for all, no checking orders, staff flustered and reminds me of McDonald's or Starbucks shouting out order numbers. Ordered ice blast and pick and mix, no straws given for the drink or lid for the sweets. The absolute worst part was the sweet stand, there was only ONE scoop which left a queue of people waiting to use it and children resorted to using their hands to pick sweets out, DISGUSTING. We only ended up picking off the top shelves we hoped children hadn't touched. I worked 3 years in a cinema and the contrast between level of service there and Odeon is disgraceful. The cinema should be a relaxing, exciting and enjoyable experience, not riddled with poor service, unhygienic food service and flat atmosphere.

  Went to see The Odyssey in IMAX today. Booked front row seats (due to it being almost full) that were terrible. The people sitting beside us moved as it was so bad. Sore neck from straining up to see the screen and the picture was hard to focus on from being too close. I don't understand why these seats are even an option to book.

  A terrible experience from start to finish. Arrived in plenty of time for Odyssey, two out of the four food order screens were broken causing a long queue. Odeon had also ran out of all but one flavour ice blast, sweet popcorn and majority of soft drink options. After ordering the only flavour ice blast, we waited 20 minutes for our order meaning we were then late for the film. Entering screen 11, a so called "IMAX" screen, the distance from the seats to the screen was ridiculously far. The floors to the seats were so filthy our shoes stuck to floor and the seats themselves were covered in food. On top of the general lack of cleanliness, the size of the seats were tiny and cramped in comparison to other cinemas in the area, and the fabric on the seats were in a state of disrepair. Odeon is meant to be one of the better cinema experiences, but our trip showed otherwise, would not rush back. In fact I would avoid and go elsewhere. This isn't the first time I've had a negative experience here.
