On entering the cinema today, we were welcomed by a very polite member of staff. When he found out we were in Screen 1 he said he would need to speak to his manager as there was a problem.
The manager came across and said that the air conditioning had gone off and that they would instantly refund our ticket money and, if we wanted to we could go to see a different film on a different screen. She also said that they would provide us with iced water should we need it.
We chose to stick with the film we had gone to see and were the only people in the screening.
When we were due to come out the room was much cooler and we were thanked for our patience and understanding. Thank you to the staff for the politeness and concern. It was much appreciated.

For a cinema that charges premium pricing, this was a really disappointing experience. Screen 12 premium seating is nothing of the sort. Tired, shabby, taped up and ripped in areas and more akin to normal seats in other cinemas. As for the snacks - the system is bizarre - and in busy times (Toy Story 5 opening weekend on this occasion!) I felt sorry for the staff having to madly prep orders with a crowd of waiting people amidst an absolute mess. A cinema experience includes a friendly old school concourse - it’s part of it.
It was also absolutely freezing in the showing itself.
I doubt I’ll return. Too many other great alternatives.

Screen 4 to watch Disclosure Day. Seats were quite comfortable, temperature dropped quite significantly towards the end of the film. Can you not wait until viewers go out?
Female toilets nearest to screen 4 - 3 of them out of order.
Food & drink prices way out of my budget.
Enjoyed the film & would definitely recommend.

I've been visiting this cinema regularly and generally enjoy the experience, but I've recently noticed that a surprising number of seats have visible slits or cuts in the seat cushions. These aren't just worn seams or minor signs of age – many appear to be actual tears in the middle of the seats and vary in size.
The screens, picture and sound are generally good, and the staff have always been friendly, but the condition of some of the seating lets the cinema down. For the price of tickets and refreshments, I would expect the seating to be maintained to a higher standard.
Hopefully the damaged seats can be repaired or replaced, as otherwise this remains a good cinema with a convenient location and a wide choice of films.

Don't watch The Amazing digital circus movie here unless you want the following: kids too young to be watching the movie screaming and shouting, people giving running commentaries the entire way through, people checking their phones every 4 seconds, people constantly getting up and down out their seats and a grown adult woman laughing throughout the entire film.
The lights were also on the entire time for some bizarre reason.
I could hear things being thrown down the stairs. A man was waving his hands and clapping in front of the screen.
The toilets and foyer were filthy. The seats were extremely uncomfortable.
It was a disaster.
I regret coming here so much.
