An awful experience start to finish. The entrance is building site. The first thing you see upon entry is a derelict Ben and Jerrys. It’s say look what you could of had. The Costa was good, but didn’t have a good selection of food, it was half open I suppose. The foyer smelt of sick. The staff all looked like they didn’t want to be there. The screen we were in was three and bit flights of stairs into a humid and smelly basements. The was no ventilation, it was too warm, the seats were uncomfortable and the screen too small. If there was any accessibility contingencies I could see them. If you wanted to use the toilet it was back up 3 flights of stairs, and clearly people hadn’t bothered because there were stains on the carpet where someone had relieved themselves.

Friendly staff and reasonably priced if you take advantage of Mondays and kids £1 specials in holidays but the building and Infrastructure has seen better days

I think this deserves to be prefaced that the staff were perfectly adequate and we were treated well by the people who worked there. That is unfortunately the end of most of the positivity in this review. We were greeted by a long line for the concessions which on a non-busy Tuesday was a surprise to see, the foyer looks tired, old and in desperate need of modernisation, as does the rest of the building.. atleast it is consistent throughout. We were in screen 5 on a 24 degree day, admittedly humid, but when isn’t in Brighton. It was sweltering, why there were absolutely no provisions in place to mitigate the effect I do not know, not even a notice from the staff, just two printed A4 pages on the door saying it was extremely hot. No water handed out, no attempt at A/C. Nothing. Screen quality was okay, sound quality also okay. Seats very comfortable. Food and drink, very expensive but that is the unfortunate norm with cinemas now. Overall, won’t be rushing back.
