  Amazing place to go if in Edinburgh. My husband and I throughly enjoyed visiting here during our time in Edinburgh. Queues can be a bit long but definitely worthwhile. Amazing staff members too.

  Went to go see Derren Brown and although show wasn’t as expected (we left at the interval) the service we received at playhouse was great! Special shout out to the gentleman with glasses and a beard on security. My partner had lost his wallet and he went to the effort of taking his name and number, looking for the wallet himself after the show and then contacting him personally when he found it after the show! Such an honourable guy, these types of people are an asset to any security team who very clearly care about the members of the public. Thank you so much, we couldn’t be more grateful for the way you handled the very stressful situation.

  Whst a Lovely evening for a bustling capital city wander down to the Playhouse. Quite hot and cramped inside but always is unfortunately. 2 wonderful stuff members helped me and my father. (I think Alice and Kerry ?) With an issue we had. They were amazing. Thank you. Wonderful service!

  A disappointing experience overall. During the interval, the staff handed out the incorrect pink brochure for readmittance and refused to take responsibility for the mistake while threatening no reentry

  Fantastic facilities, however if you are on the taller side be sure to book a row with noone in from of you or a end row seat. Staff are brilliant everytime we come, we love coming to see shows at the playhouse.
