  We saw internationally known Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss at the theater. Excellent. It's a large theatre. Excellent bar service.

  Large theatre, comfortable seats but not much legroom, toilets all ok. Visited to see Daniel Sloss at the Fringe who, was very good. Much larger audience than at other fringe venues.

  Initially turned away at the door because my bag was "too big" for the limited space in the seats; advised to place in Left Luggage locker at train station which would have been good advice had there been any. Got back though missed the support act (Any chance of a partial refund Playhouse?). Turned my hearing aid on because I am not fluent in BSL but volume all over the place and I missed quite a few 'punchlines' / side comments. Would I travel to see Daniel Sloss again? Anytime. At the Playhouse? Maybe not.

  They confiscate your water at the door, and then it takes them 20 mins to serve the four orders in front of you at the bar 🙄

  I went here to see David Byrne and again,was not let down by the Playhouse! Firstly,what an unbelievable show! It was more than a gig,it was an experience,and the Playhouse was the perfect venue. Not super large like the overwhelming arenas,just a lovely,retro theatre with great views,sound and atmosphere!
