  Absolutely terrible experience. No responsibility from the staff whatsoever. There was no clip to say no phones and no talking and there was a phone ringing during the movie, people talking loudly, people putting their flashlights on half way through the movie and one guy even answered a FaceTime call during the movie. Absolutely ridiculous, won’t be back.

  Not sure who is managing the shambles that is Kilmarnock odeon. Gone are the days a trip to the cinema was a fun experience. I witnessed a mosh pit of poor customers waiting on their food while 3 young woman stressed out their heads worked their way through a number system displayed above. Those waiting for a plastic cup to self pour millions are in the same queue as those waiting for 3 hots dogs and 3 nachos with drinks! The tension as folk realised they were going to miss the start of their expensive movies was palpable! Some mums sacrificing the start of the move to let their family go in so they could wait in the mosh pit. The system of pay for your stuff then wait for it is insane. Why isn’t there a quick queue for those who want a popcorn?!🍿 why ain’t the person taking the £ able to scoop popcorn? On another note I nearly broke my teeth 4 times on the cardboard popcorn they are dishing out. Full of kernels and chewy. It used to be people sneaked snacks in to avoid the cost of the cinema prices but now we do it because the selection of food is so rubbish we have no choice! In its glory days there was a normal ticket queue and Haagen Dazs sundaes and warm sweet popcorn and every bag of Cadbury you can think of! No lengthy queues to speak off. Just the delight of being at the movies! Also what’s with the world’s crappest pick and mix? And why is there no Ben and Jerrys anymore? Assuming cost cutting is at the forefront as people are staying home to watch movies at least have a paying and waiting system that acknowledges common sense! Get the easy ones out the way! Ah man it used to be magical going to the flicks. How depressing .

  Screens in desperate need for an upgrade! Bring the recliners in, it would be the only one in Ayrshire with recliners! Staff are super friendly from the food stand to the ticket scanners! Nothings a problem. There’s a popular Costa inside as well, don’t think I’ve ever seen any Costa so busy! Will visit again.

  Went to see 'The Incomer' and thoroughly enjoyed it. Booked tickets online, just walked in. Comfortable seats, great sound. Very nice cinema.
