⭐ Very disappointing experience – not what you expect from an ODEON Luxe I visited ODEON Luxe Dundee and was extremely disappointed by the condition of the ladies’ toilets. The smell of urine was absolutely disgusting. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had visited around four weeks previously and raised exactly the same issue with a member of staff. On that occasion, the response was apologetic and understanding, and I was told the toilets would be cleaned. Clearly, the issue has not been resolved. I asked to speak to the manager, Sarah, and unfortunately her attitude made an already disappointing experience considerably worse. She walked away from me part-way through the conversation to go into the toilet and, when she returned, told me: “It smells a bit, but you are dramatising the situation.” I found this incredibly rude and dismissive. I had spent almost £100 on a trip to the cinema and don’t think it is unreasonable to expect clean, pleasant facilities. The final response was to ask a member of staff to get air freshener to cover the smell, rather than actually address the cleanliness issue. That really summed up the experience for me. It is a shame because I would expect considerably better from an ODEON Luxe cinema. With the cost of going to the cinema these days, the overall experience needs to justify the price — and this simply didn’t. I won’t be returning to ODEON Luxe Dundee. My money will be going to the DCA instead.

We chose the luxury seats and had a great time. The theater itself was comfortable and really nice. Movies are quite a bit more expensive here than we’re used to in the States, and the concessions were expensive enough that we skipped them. Still, a really enjoyable movie experience for a rainy afternoon.

Don't think we'll be going to this cinema anymore. For a 'Luxe' cinema, it's got rubbish swirling outside the front doors every time we attend. The cinema is encumbered by a process that does not work efficiently--mainly its food & drink ordering system. There was no line at the counter, and two workers who could have helped us, but instead I was directed to the kiosk which was slow and kept getting hung up on errors. I opted to make it to my film in time and opted out of food and drink.

Screen and seats were fine, but the facilities themselves leave a lot to be desired. Downstairs is basically bare other than ticket machines, upstairs is generally fine, but the toilets and halls are disgusting. Liquid stains all over the carpets, gents bathroom missing a door on one of the stalls and the hand driers don't look like they've been cleaned since pre-COVID. Popcorn barely like warm and extremely overpriced, £12.95 for a large popcorn and a drink?? Could get 2 bags of popcorn and a 2l bottle of any side for less than half that price in the shops. Will stick to supporting my local independent cinema, they actually clean the place, though their snack prices aren't much better.

Went last night to see odyssey The cinema was busy. We were at the 19.50 showing of the film. Large queues at the food and drink counter, which were under staffed and poorly organised. On entering screen 8 to see the film it was clear it had not been cleaned from the previous film, with food on the floor and general untidy. The screening itself was fine on leaving all the bins were overflowing and had clearly not been emptied for sometime meaning nowhere to deposit our rubbish. Going outside the front of the cinema and the car park was also covered in rubbish. I think we paid in the region of £30 for our tickets and the cost of a drink £8 so not a cheap night. If they want to encourage more people to attend the cinema, they really need to up their game.
