We was a group of 4 people we went to watch Spiderman brand new day from when we stepped in the que to food was long we found out once got to end that it was because the cinema was destroyed by people before. People was allowed in to buy merch and just go out the door. When got to close going in they had no posters no socks which are meant get for upgraded seats. I don't really blame staff working that day I think miss management by odeon and poor values of people ruining the cinema before. They should of known it would be crazy as it was a big box office film.

Very disappointing experience at ODEON Exeter. We paid £17 for two tickets, but from the beginning of the film we could barely see the screen properly from our seats (G7 and G8 in screen 3). The screen appeared extremely small and the viewing angle was very poor. I tried to change our seats, but there were no alternative seats available to select. The seats were also very uncomfortable, and my back started hurting during the film. We were unable to properly watch or enjoy the film despite paying for the tickets. This was a very disappointing experience, I won’t be visiting this ODEON again.

I honestly don’t have much positive to say about my cinema experience. The cinema is outdated and in need of some TLC. I had a large combo (drink and popcorn) which is priced at £12.45? Plus extra to upgrade. The popcorn was disgusting and had an awful taste almost chemical like and my upgraded drink was not even filled to the top but it was to Packed to complain. The film we were seeing was delayed because what I can only assume is a bunch of inconsiderate people made an absolute disgusting mess of the cinema. I had to wait in a crammed room without air con for nearly 30mins which meant the fresh food and drink purchased was no longer enjoyable actually for the film. The film experience was terrible because again inconsiderate people don’t know how to not speak and spend an hour rustling items around which although isn’t the staffs problems makes it frustrating when you purchase Upgraded seats. To top it off I went to use the bathroom before I left and there was no toilet roll or soap left. Overall really disappointed with my experience and will be choosing another cinema in future.

Considering that 5 stars represents a perfect experience, I've given a generous 3 stars. The main reason is Screen 2, where I watched the film. It feels very old and outdated. It was like watching the best movie in DVD rip quality instead of Blu-ray. I watched The Odyssey and was genuinely shocked by how poor the picture quality was. The seats are also tiny, and it felt like we were packed in like sardines. On top of that, people walking to the toilets have to pass right in front of the screen, which is quite distracting. That said, this cinema did remind me of my teenage years, and there's a certain nostalgic charm to it. The ticket price is also incredibly cheap at £5.50, which is why I've given it 3 stars instead of less. I noticed lots of big families and groups of teenagers there, which makes perfect sense because not everyone has the budget for cinemas like Vue. Overall, 3 stars for the excellent ticket price and the old-fashioned cinema experience that brought back some good memories.
