  First time I've been to this odeon, very smart and nice. Food options, drinks, sweets. Seat was soooo comfy, little moveable tray to put food and drinks, roomy area for legs. Very impressed. Will go here again. Just remember if you have a viewing past 5.30pm, then park in the red car park in Queensgate

  Poor staff attitude. It is disappointing that the people using the cinema are a distraction from either training other staff, or just taking food orders. I will continue the review later. Continuing. I visited on what appeared to be a quiet day with my son who is young and my two nephews, one of whom is blind. My first encounter was positive, ordered at a screen, and managed to collect my order, though it wasn't clearly posted. I then noted a better deal that would be more suitable for my son and asked the person behind the counter if I could order. I was initially directed to the screens. I am managing a young child and also keep an eye on two other young people, one of whom is blind, being hesitant I asked if I could order here as there was a card reader. "It doesn't work". It clearly displayed ready on the front. I then offered to pay cash, and was again directed elsewhere. In otherwords, this member of staff refused to serve me, and I could see no reason for this. Upon going to the till I was directed to, there was a member of staff supervising a trainee, who could not have been less interested in a customer as I explained my situation whilst the order was completed. The person training may have needed more orientation time as they seemed unsure about all aspects of what to do. I appreciate a trainee may not be perfect, however this felt like in at the very deep end. Overall, the service was very poor for a service industry establishment. I wanted very much for this to be a positive experience, thankfully it didn't impact our enjoyment of the film much. It is disappointing though staff appear to have a lack of situational awareness, nor a positive attitude towards customer service. I appreciate the management offering to reach out, however, will this actually bring about change? I would love to change my review.

  Last night's screening if Spiderman was the worst experience I ever had in the cinema. Starting from the beginning selling drinks that were not available, one soda machine was not working and only served Diet Coke that joke! Of course no information about this before you place an order. Screening was late by around 15 -20minutes so we had to wait and eventually 20 minutes to the movie power cut happened and we had to leave. The tickets were refunded, but nothing for waste time and money spend on food and parking not to mention ruin the movie.

  Great to have a cinema in the city centre. Located in main area. Lifts or escalators to get up to the space. One negative is the screens can leak noise from the other screens so if in a quiet moment in your film, you can def hear the other films in different screens. Shame that wasn't looked at or thought about before opening. Not sure if thats in all the screens.
