- IGIsaac GriggsApr 27, 20262.0I recently visited Odeon MK to see Project Hail Mary in IMAX and unfortunately I left feeling rather disappointed. The experience of arriving at this enormous cinema was amazing and I really like the entrance and the facilities that are available, the toilets were really clean and there were loads of them too so no long lines to wait! The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the seats in the IMAX screen were so uncomfortable and it really detracted from the overall experience. The seats are very outdated and when compared even to the standard recliner saver seats you get at Northampton it’s like night and day. I’m an Odeon member so thankfully I only needed to pay £5 but I think the standard price for non members for IMAX is about £25? I would be fuming if I had paid that much to sit in those awful seats. IMAX is meant to be the best movie going experience with maximum comfort not cheap leather airplane seats.
