  Great to have a cinema back in Cabot, the experience is much better than "luxury" cinemas like Everyman which have much smaller screens and worse seating.

  This is A review for for the imax screen 6 specifically. I previously saw the odyssey at a normal cinema but a friend raved about seeing the odyssey at an imax. bristol odeon luxe advertised odyssey imax so along i went. At no time was it explained that the bristol imax did not show the full 70mm imax format. To be fair the screen was bigger, higher resolution with better sound, and the film was better at this cinema, but the showing was not the amazing experience that my friend had. at no time was it explained that just because a film was filmed in 70mm IMAX format and just because the cinema says it is an imax screening does that mean it’s a proper imax format. apparently there are only 3 proper imax screens in the u.k. , 2 in london and one in manchester. i was essentially conned into paying 3 times the price for a reclining seat that i didn’t care about. i’m sure it’s not only odeon that are conning people and it’s a worldwide thing but it was odeon that conned me and for that im never going back there again.

  Really good, clean, great seats and screens. 31.00 for four adults to see the Odyssey, will come back. Food and drinks as always at a cinema.

  I've been pretty excited for the new ODEON at Cabot, so excited that I got the MyLimitless membership. The IMAX screen is great, even if it is a LieMAX. Watched Interstellar there during opening week and it was mega. The seats are new and comfortable, and generally the place is clean and tidy. My only complaint is the food and drink section, which just seems broken. The amount of times I've ordered on the app while on my way there, only to arrive and still be waiting around for a medium popcorn, is crazy. Or I'll arrive, order, and see orders placed after mine being completed first, when I'm only ordering a medium popcorn and a Tango Ice Blast. I don't know whether it's the touchscreens causing the issue or if the staff just haven't been trained properly. They're all polite and have apologised about the wait. Hopefully they can get it fixed, because otherwise it's a great new cinema for Cabot.

  Saw the odyssey and really wish they had earplugs for us as it was too loud! Damn Nolan real shame Our popcorn was a mix of old, burnt and fresh. But it was served quickly Our seats were very comfortable, Imax picture was top quality and all-round it was nice and clean too
