Massive queues to get in. Unable to manage queues in the building. Never been to a theatre where it was so hard to get it in and where they've just cut the queues after already waiting in them for 10 minutes.

The Bristol Hippodrome is incredible. This theatre seats 1951 spread across three levels. It has a regular array of different shows often on tour and I have loved seeing: matilda, Mary Poppins, wicked, Peter pan, lion king and josheph. The theatre has many different seating areas such as the piano bar and other places where drinks or sweets can be bought. There are friendly staff plotted everywhere in the theatre so if any problems occur you can ask them. There is a large variety of choice when it comes to refreshments and the regular swapping of shows means you can see lots of different musicals locally to you. There is an option to preorder for the interval but I am get to see how effective this is. Overall I love going to this theatre and will go again many times.
the show was good. however the staff on duty at foyer in the entrance was rude and aggressive when enquiring about a purchase. I felt that the response to my enquiry was unnecessary and unacceptable it spoilt the evening for me and I was unable to buy what I originally requested.

We saw the opening of greatest showman, which was amazing. The theatre is very nice. More spacious than others. Appreciate having the middle aisle. My main critique is related to alcohol distribution for the show. Nice to have a drink in the theatre but also seems unnecessary. The couple sitting next to us got so drunk they became disruptive and had to be escorted out in the middle of the musical which is absurd. The guy was chugging beers right next to us. There should be a better way to cap people on the number of drinks. Kuddos to the attendant though who recognized how drunk they were from afar.
