  A great old venue that has seen many stars of stage and screen tread its boards. We saw 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' here and my daughters were completely enthralled by the production, which was thrilling, comedic, heartfelt and joyous. We sat in the gallery, row G, and had a pretty good view of everything, so worth looking out for.

  Went to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Sunday 16th August.seated in Gallery was a bad experience everyone seemed to be struggling with air and humidity in there all you cd see through show were people fanning themselves for whole 2half hrs show was v good but unable to enjoy the experience as heat was chronic in gallery also 2men u. Row H seated 5 6 seats in filming the show and told 3times to stop but they carried on not sure why they wernt removed shame the experience wasn't good

  A well presented theatre in the centre of Brighton. There are toilets and refreshment bars inside. Due to it's size the seating feels a bit cramped. Most of the seating has a good view of the stage, some are slightly restricted, but only by a bit. The staff were very efficient. There are various car parks a short walk away, but nothing close by.

  Absolute perfection! Took me right back to my childhood! I went to the Friday evening performance, and honestly, from start to finish, I was completely blown away. Watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang brought back so many core memories of watching it as a child all those years ago! 😂 The entire cast and crew were top-tier. They captured the story, warmth, and iconic songs from the original film and soundtrack so flawlessly that I had goosebumps throughout the whole show. Performing with that level of energy, precision, and passion especially in this heat and humidity is nothing short of legendary. I loved every single minute of it. Well deserved, highly recommend to anyone of any age! Huge congratulations to all involved! 👏🎭❤️

  I attended the theatre royal yesterday for a peppa pig show with my daughter who has additional needs. The staff were absolutely amazing with her. They gave me a bag of fidget toys and ear defenders to use whilst at the performance. Put my special buggy in a place so I had the easiest access to it. My daughter only lasted 10 minutes once the performance started which is no reflection on the show or venue itself at all, but even after we left early they still took the time to speak to my little girl and see if they could accommodate her anymore. Honestly 5 stars isn’t enough in my opinion. Will definitely be coming again!!
