While the “Luxe” experience does deliver in terms of the reclining seats and spacious layout, this is being significantly undermined by the apparent reluctance to use the air conditioning properly, or at all. On both visits, it was uncomfortably warm, which created an unpleasant viewing experience and took away from any sense of luxury or comfort that customers are paying for. I appreciate there may be operational or corporate considerations behind this, but as a paying customer specifically choosing and paying premium prices for the Luxe experience, it is frustrating that such a basic aspect of comfort is being neglected. Comfortable seating alone does not justify the premium experience if customers are left feeling overheated throughout the film.
