  I have been in Alexandra numerous times but yesterday the venue was humiliating. We went to watch Richard Ayoade show(which was brilliant by the way👍) but venue didn’t have air con or even fans for spectators. We were sitting in upper grand circle and I was close to faint. Bar was absolutely unprepared and ran out of ice, they were selling water - £3.50 for 500ml bottle!! absolutely disgusting service- tickets are not cheap so considering the conditions they left us in they should supply water for free…

  Just walked out of richard aouade, no aircon , warm drinks , shocking , and I don't think we were the only ones , absolutely boiling and just looking around a lot of people were suffering from the heat , a cold drink in the interval would have been a god send buy no luke warm coke and water ,

  Good theatre, great views of the stage from the circle. On the downside the beer is very, very expensive! £17.20 for 2 pints! Won't be buying drinks here again.

  Lovely theatre with everyone close to stage for excellent view. Good acoustics. Could do with 2 servers at least in downstairs refreshments as 1 server couldn't cope.

  We are quite regular visitors to the Alex and it is always well organised and a great evening. There was a technical error halfway through the show and they announced that they wished for us to stay in our seats until the issue was resolved, considering 90% of the rest of the audience decided to completely ignore them, they handled it very well indeed. They show went on! We will be back soon im sure.
