The watched the show starting from 7:50pm. The ticket machine had printing issue and ticket was stuck inside 😅 but the staff was helpful and finally we got it. Unfortunately, the movie started almost at 8:30pm showing promotional ads for almost 40 minutes! This is bad!
Sound system was 👍

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at ODEON.
My friends and I went to watch Insidious, which is rated 15. We had no issues purchasing our tickets, but when we tried to enter, we were told we needed ID. We spoke to the manager, who offered to either refund our tickets or exchange them for a different film. However, she also told us that if we came back another day without ID, she would allow us in — it was apparently only an issue because it was a Saturday night.
We decided to watch a different film instead. Unfortunately, around 40 minutes into the movie, the same manager came in and told all of us to leave. When we asked why, she pointed out a couple of wrappers and a small amount of popcorn that had been spilled on the floor. We explained that we were happy to clean it up, but she simply told us, “No, get out now.”
As we were leaving, I apologised to her for the mess, only for her to laugh at me. We left without causing any further problems, but what made the experience even more frustrating was that we were not refunded for the movie we had been removed from halfway through.
I completely understand having rules around age restrictions and keeping the cinema clean, but the way this situation was handled felt extremely rude and unprofessional. Being asked to leave after only watching around half of the film, without a refund, was very disappointing.
Unfortunately, this experience has really put me off returning to ODEON.

Really disappointed with our experience at ODEON yesterday.
We had no problem buying our tickets for Insidious, which is rated 15. However, when me and my friends went to have our tickets checked, we were suddenly refused entry because we didn’t have ID. I understand checking ID when necessary, but expecting a group of people who are all 15+ to carry a passport just to go to the cinema seems excessive, especially when we had already been allowed to purchase the tickets.
We spoke to a manager, who offered us a refund or the option to change films. We chose to change films and went to see End of Oak Street instead.
After around 40 minutes of watching the film, the same manager came into the screen and told us we had to leave. When we asked why, they pointed towards the floor. There were a few pieces of popcorn and a couple of wrappers beside our seats. Obviously, people are going to occasionally drop or spill a small amount of popcorn in a cinema — that doesn’t seem like a reasonable reason to remove paying customers from a film, especially when no further explanation was given.
To make matters worse, when my friend apologised for the “mess” while leaving, the manager laughed at her, which we found extremely rude and unprofessional.
Overall, the whole experience was very disappointing. We paid for tickets, were initially refused entry, changed films after speaking to a manager, and then were removed from the second film after only 40 minutes without what we felt was a proper explanation. I hope ODEON can look into what happened because this was not the experience we expected.
