  I got recommended this shop by a friend who has fixed a few amps there , so I was confident and drove 2 hours to take my Vox handwired AC15 amp in because of a really annoying white noise issue. I explained everything over the phone before bringing it in. After waiting two weeks, I went back to pick it up and the amp still had the same main noise problem. They did add some screws and cleaned the amp, but the white noise issue wasn’t fixed. On top of that, the initial charge without fixing the main issue was $172, and even after I asked for a discount because clearly the issue was not solved , I still had to pay $138. Everyone at the shop is friendly and polite but For what was done, I feel the price was too high and the main issue wasn’t solved. Overall, a really frustrating experience and I feel like my time and money were 100% wasted …

  Brought my Vox ac15 in as it developed a howl. It was only a bad input jack which was replaced. these folks are knowledgeable and fair. it just takes a while to get in.

  Very friendly people. However I think whoever setup my bass didn’t know what they were doing. It was a fender j bass. Upon playing it a week after it was setup It buzzed a lot when fretted and the strings were to high off the fret board especially as you go up the neck. I had someone else looked at it and they had to readjust the truss (neck was to concave), adjust the action etc. It sounded good when I initially picked it up but I’m a novice and wouldn’t have known until it just started sounding crappy and I felt like I was fighting to play the bass with every note vs before repair. I didn’t inform them of this as I figured they should have gotten right the first time. I would understand a small issue but nothing was set right. :(.
