My only complaint is that when I tried to book the movie on the previous Saturday, it didn't show times for the day I wanted (other movies did). I ended up booking the movie at a theater further away. A couple of days, before the date of the movie I had purchased, I received an email from Cenemark(from doing the research) showing the movie was on that day...I changed theaters, and lost my service fees, but it all worked out on the long run!
- CWchris wFeb 15, 20264.0I recently visited Cinemark Durbin Park and XD after not going to a movie theater in over 15 years, and overall, I was very impressed. The facility felt high quality from the moment I walked in. They offer a great selection of beer, coffee, soft drinks, candy, and food. Everything was very clean and neatly maintained, and the theaters themselves were excellent. That said, I do have one complaint. It seemed like the AC or ventilation system wasn’t properly set or wasn’t working. The theater felt like there was little to no airflow, and with the leather seats, it became quite hot. By the end of the movie, my back and clothes were noticeably damp from the heat. Even though everything else was done well, comfort is a big part of the experience, and the lack of proper ventilation made it uncomfortable and a bit unsettling. I’m not sure if this is a regular issue or just a one-time occurrence, but it’s something that should definitely be addressed. Overall, a very nice theater — just needs better climate control.
