Fun dinner and show but it was so cold waiting outside for it to start. They say to get there 30 minutes prior to opening which is a long time in the cold temps that were going on while we were there. The tables/seats are reserved, so we shoud not have had to wait so long outside. The food wasn't super hot. I did get the vegetarian option and the sauce on the jackfruit and "sausage" was very spicy, along with the red beans. While it comes with beverages, the servers don't swing by often, so don't expect a quick refill or 2. The show itself was energizing and entertaining.

I LOVE THE HOOP DEE DOO! I don’t know how I went so long without dining here but o wish I would have known sooner. Reservations book up quick especially during holidays so make sure you book at the exact day and time you need to. Keep in mind that you must pay for your dining upfront while making your reservation! The price includes food drink and tip so you pay nothing once your meal is over. And the earlier you arrive and check in the better seating you’ll get. Food is served family style and all you care to eat. Salad and cornbread is first. Fried chicken, ribs, baked beans, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and coleslaw is served next. Dessert is strawberry shortcake. All you can drink soda, tea, juice is included. BUT for the adults all you care to drink sangria and beer is included too! The all you care to drink alcohol is included it is in your adult price and isn’t something you have to pay extra for! It’s also a show. So the food is staggered during the show which no matter how many times I’ve gone, I always enjoy. Audience participation is encouraged but not required. I always leave happy, full, and looking forward to the next time I can go!

We came to this a few years ago and loved it! We loved it so much, that I reserved and prepaid early. With that said, it's frustrating to pay $$ and then have a waiter not even look at you as he's handing you your straws as if you were in a relay and he's passing you the baton. Why, because we chose no alcohol/ upgrade and therefore you, as a waiter, think there's no chance of a greater tip? Everything else was perfect. But the lack of respect (eye contact while we speak) leaves a bitter taste no matter how good everything else was. And don't think that I didn't notice that we were served last after that moment of no alcohol.

I have seen this show a handful of times between childhood and as an adult as recent as January 2026. It's always good and always has been. The check in experience right beside the dinner hall, is easy and effecient. The line moved quickly. After checking in, you can take some time to explore the nearby playground, camping loops or the stables where the horses are kept. Then, you'll line up to enter the dining hall about 15 minutes prior to the show starting. You do not need to be first in line, they get everyone in very very quickly, so if you end up being near the back- I would guess we were all inside within 5 minutes, but could have been even less. Our server, Geno, was so kind and quick to refill drinks or bring any extra food we requested. The show itself is a crack up. The singers are very talented- our kids were in stitches watching them. I believe this to be the best show and an incredible value in all of Walt Disney World.

A must see and hear if you are staying in Fort Wilderness campground (although anyone can make reservations regardless of where you ha g your hat). The food is good and you have salad, coleslaw and cornbread (more like corn cake) waiting for you as you enter the room (nice touch!). Every serving of food has a special song the cast sings (very comical) as it is served. But it was the musicians and actors that captured my attention. First the pianist and banjo picker; all I can say is "wow!" These 2 musicians both have an extensive playlist of American folksongs and modern pop songs "countrified" to fit the theme and both were virtuosic in their performance of a style of music you would be hard pressed to find live performances of these days. Second, the performers were gregarious, outgoing, and just downright funny appealing to a wide spectrum of generations and cultures. They really poured themselves into these roles so much so that even grumpy crumudgeons are going to leave the hall laughing and hollering by the end of it all. The servers were also outstanding attending to your every need....you will not be for want. Finally, Disney thinks of everything! All of the chairs in the hall are swivel based so you can constantly turn your entire body around (while eating your food) while seated during the many on floor performances. This truly is an attraction for all ages and I highly reccomend it as an essential Disney experience. I firmly believe that some good banjo pickin' will melt the coldest heart. Enjoy!
