My Honest Reflection on Disney The cast members were truly inviting and helpful. Every interaction we had with staff was kind, patient, and professional — and that absolutely deserves recognition. That said, the ADA system was incredibly difficult to navigate. Because it’s considered a “sensitive topic,” no one at Guest Services would or could offer meaningful help, which left us feeling unsupported in a space that should be inclusive for everyone. The parks as a whole are beyond overpriced for admission. If you’re planning to ride attractions, realistically you might average three rides a day — the rest of the time is spent waiting in lines. That just wasn’t the experience we expected at that price point. On the positive side, the character dining experiences were phenomenal — far beyond what we anticipated. If you’re going, the dining plan and Memory Maker are absolutely worth it. Security is thorough — very thorough. By about the sixth time I had to fully empty my bag, I was over it. But I reminded myself they’re doing their jobs and keeping everyone safe, and for that I’m grateful. However, what was not okay: six grown adults yelling instructions at a hearing-impaired autistic person at once. That doesn’t help. It confuses and overwhelms. We can do better. Speak clearly. One person at a time. Show patience. And finally — this isn’t just about Disney. It’s about people. When thousands of people shoulder-check, bump, shove, and push past you — and only four say “excuse me” — that’s not a theme park issue. That’s a manners issue. Walk on the right. Use the middle to pass. Say excuse me. Hold the door. Stop pushing. The park literally plays recorded reminders telling parents to watch their children. It wouldn’t hurt to also remind people to teach their children basic courtesy. If you can’t control your kids in crowded spaces, reconsider bringing them into environments where everyone is packed together. At the end of the day, what I witnessed wasn’t magic or wonder — it was a snapshot of how disconnected and self-focused we’ve become as a society. We can do better. And we should.

It was ok. NOT great. Reasons why are long and arduous but here are a few. 1. I was in a mobility scooter and the tight corners to turn in the lanes leading to the attractions wre crazy. I injured myself more than once. 2. People will stand in line then have others join them. Like 50 other people! One guy kneed me in the back and pushed my 8 yr old daughter to get arduous me to "join his party". After we get past the section that asks how many in your party, there shouldn't be anymore of that. But no. WE get trampled and yelled at even though WE were already IN LINE! 3rd, was on the safari train, pouring rain, on my mobility scooter put to the very BACK of the train with all the open windows. Rain POURING in on me. I used my umbrella to cover the window.. no one says anything but one woman with a stick up her behind telling me to "close your umbrella while inside our trains " I've asked all the shops, no one has a rain parka, or anything. Id have settled for a damn TRASH BAG... 🤦🏼‍♀️ 4, my daughter couldn't see "Kevin" the bird because as we walked up, the band assumed it was THIER cue to blast us in loud music that was SO LOUD, everyone was covering thier ears. It's crap like this that makes me wish I didn't have an annual pass because they treat us annual passholders like THEY are doing US a favor by even being there... its almost too expensive to even go, then its too expensive in the little shops to get anything, then the food... OMG.. need to take out a home loan to pay that.... Disney needs to remember who they are here for.

Love Disney and its usual service, but Brenda at the front ticket booth today 2/4/26 12:12pm at the ticket booth older lady, at animal kingdom, she did not portray typical Disney service standards. She was rude. She spoke shortly and rudely like she was above having to deal with this job and the people she gets to “help.” From the get go, she was short and rude, speaking to us as if we were somehow below her, which I can assure you, we’re not. I had to request her use the word “please” rather than just barking rudely at us and she decided to argue about her service instead. She even had the audacity to look at me and say “excuse me?” when I requested her use the word “please.” She even rudely responded yelling “we have great service.” in argument to when I noted that this isn’t the usual disney service. Like yeah disney does usually have great service sure, you, you’re not it. Maybe instead of trying to argue with me just be kind to others you don’t know? Or maybe just be respectful to paying customers and we won’t have to check you on how you’re speaking to us. Anyways I’ve got a 1 star review up for that and I may change it if and only if things get better next time I come, and let me tell you after that experience I don’t have any intention on returning anytime soon. Been to Disney many times, never been so irritated at the way we’ve been spoken to. My group usually spends 4-5 figures at disney per year per individual, last year I alone dropped $25k at disney so, we’re less than pleased with this in return for our business. Oh, and we also own multiple investment homes in the area that send guests to Disney so, I don’t think we should be treated better than anyone else but I certainly don’t think we should have gotten the attitude we got today from Brenda. Out of concern that our guests may have the same entry experience that we did, we’ve decided not to continue sending guests to animal kingdom. In my honest opinion, Brenda is just not a good fit for the Disney team. I feel like it’s a little odd for me to have to teach basic manners to a woman atleast 4x my age who’s getting paid to be a “customer service professional” at a place typically known to have exemplary customer service. Every other Disney member here though we had a good experience with. We definitely have to question if our race had something to do with the way we were treated and if so, Disney definitely should do something about that employee. A formal complaint will be filed.
