  we did the mystery train last night, February 6, 2026. The food in the service were good… With the prime rib being excellent. the issue we had Was that we were seated at table one in one of the cars that was very long… Thus there were a lot of people in our car. That made the conversations very loud and annoying… Plus there is a speaker playing music the entire time. However, the worst part was that being at the very end of the Cabin we could barely hear the actors speaking as most of the time, the actor nearest to I said they’re back to us… And the actor facing us was at the very other end of the car. When you can barely hear the dialogue, it ruins the whole reason that you took the trip which was to figure out who committed the crime. If we ever did it again, I would insist on being seated in a smaller car in this intersection so that we could hear better

  Had an absolute BLAST! The show was put on so well, the acting was hilarious and enthusiastic. Vibe on the train car was very happy and light. As for the food service..... wow. Michelle and Spencer (?) were absolute machines. I was so incredibly impressed with the smoothness of the courses, dish placing and removal - all while being very informative, kind, and professional. Thank you so much for making our evening so special.

  We have been on the dinner train many times and enjoyed it the first few times we went. I feel like it has gone downhill after Hurricane Ian and the whole thing needs a revamp at this point. They charge a high price for this experience and it definitely is not worth it at this time. With as much money as they make off of this they need to incorporate many changes to improve the quality of the experience.A sound system is imperative so that actors don't have to yell and you can hear them clearly throughout the whole car. The interior of the dinner train needs to be completely redone.It feels very outdated. Most importantly, the whole menu needs to be reimagined. The three choices that they give are basic at best and are not appetizing at all. If they want more locals to come back and enjoy the experience and pay the money they're asking, they need to incorporate these changes.

  Everything was Great. The People, the Food. Very nice Prime Rib by the way. The Show was terrific. I would recommend this EXCEPT... WARNING: To Anyone that gets motion sickness Either try Dramamine before Boarding or Don't go. It's a 3 and a half hour Slow Very Rocky (side to side) ride the entire time. Aside from that... Everything else was nice.

  On January 24, 2026 we attended this event. While the Murder Mystery Dinner Train in Fort Myers offered a clean, well-organized car, a delicious 5-course meal, and impressed with hard-working staff, the overall experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. The slow, bumpy ride passed through industrial, graffiti-covered areas, and the high cost, combined with post-trip tipping, made it feel poor value for money. If you suffer from motion sickness this wouldn't be for you! This themed murder mystery dinner was a blast, featuring a five-course meal and a highly engaging, well-dressed, and hilarious cast of actors. The food was excellent, with options like prime rib, salmon, or chicken francese, and the portions were so generous I went home with 50% leftovers. However, the dessert was disappointing—far too sweet and tasted store-bought. While water and coffee were included, other drinks were very expensive and could only be ordered during specific, restricted times. While I appreciated the food and the show, I won't be returning until the tracks are repaired. Given how packed the trains are, it is obvious this is a profitable event, so they should invest in track maintenance to improve the experience
