It is situated a little hidden, between Lillian-Board-Weg and Luz-Long-Ufer. Unimposingly embedded into the lovely landscape of the park under gentle meadows and lawns: two concrete arches mellowly oscilliated lead the path down into the underground to the Small Olympic Hall which has been designed by the famous Munich architectural office Auer + Weber and which has developed to a most demanded and highly respected location in the Olympic Park.
The figures speak for themselves, 2014 more than 300 000 spectators came to see Gunther von Hagens’ “Body Worlds” in the Small Olympic Hall, in the year following also the exhibition “Tutanchamun – his grave and his treasures” with its insight into the secret and mysterious world of the ancient Egypt drew a large audience. In 2016 there will be another exhibition within the series “Exhibition summer in the Olympic Park”.
