  I’m so tired of the corporate mindset at Cinemark. Prices are already outrageously high — $7 for a bottle of water and $20+ for popcorn — and yet they still nickel-and-dime customers over something as simple as a cup with ice. I asked for a cup so I could have ice with the water I just paid almost $7 for, and the employee said they “count the cups.” Really? A massive national theater chain is counting cups like they’re gold bars? It’s embarrassing. The staff wasn’t the problem; they were polite but clearly stuck following rigid corporate rules. The real issue is whatever executive thought denying a paying customer a basic courtesy was a good business strategy. In my line of work, we were always taught: Take care of the customer and the customer will take care of you. Cinemark has completely lost sight of that. With prices this high and customer service this low, it’s no wonder people are choosing to stay home. This experience definitely made me rethink coming back. UPDATE: The generic response that they gave only made the situation worse. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Try again Cinemark.

  Went to see the stray kids movie yesterday, we were sitting in an empty theater for like 10 minutes and went to use the restroom and when we came back, the lights and screen was off and they were questioning my 14 year old daughter asking if she was here alone?? Mind you these two employees saw us all coming in together and said nothing until we left ?? Then they said the movie wasn’t going to play in there and to go to a different theater. We get in there and the whole top section is taken so we have to sit on the bottom level (not a big deal but we bought our tickets weeks in advance and picked the best seats to avoid this ) We also missed the first 15 minutes of the movie because of this which sucks and not only that but the lights turned on and the screen stopped working for 10 minutes and when they came and fixed it they didn’t even bother to rewind the movie so we can see what we missed. I usually go to the north haven movie theater and never experienced anything like this before

  Horrible, disgusting experience. This theater is infested with mice. While sitting on the main level of the theater during a movie, I saw multiple mice running across the carpet and under the seats. This place serves food, which makes the situation absolutely revolting. Completely unsanitary. I was horrified and will never return.
