- MSMike StollNov 10, 20252.0We have experienced a number of escape rooms of different types and wanted to love this one, but unfortunately this location didn't do it for us. The staff member at the desk was very friendly and welcoming. We did two rooms; the first one was fine and we had fun. The second one was a mess. One of the locks was not properly locked, so we ended up with access to some of the later puzzles without realizing it. By the time that became obvious, we had opened up a lot of items and boxes that should have been saved for later in the room. Another staff member made an attempt to get us back on track, but didn't offer a full reset, stop the timer, or do anything else to help mitigate the issue that was caused. The last puzzle was left out even after that attempt, so we solved that before a few of the ones that should have come before. Overall the quality of the rooms was not great; there were multiple clues that were so worn we could hardly read them or weren't 100% sure what they said and there was one lock that would not unlock even with the correct code. Given that we couldn't engage with the second room as it was intended, some offer of a credit, refund, coupon to come back...something would have been appreciated. Instead, we just got a "sorry" and sent on our way. It's worth noting that there were only two staff members on duty as far as we could tell, so I imagine they were doing the best they could. For what it costs though, All In Adventures should be making the effort to staff the location properly. Unfortunately as it is, we wholeheartedly cannot recommend this escape room.

I much more recommend all of Escape New Haven’s experiences over these ones. The rooms even have exposed ceilings, so the noise from other rooms enters yours.
