  I was genuinely surprised to find a modern theater still using standard, non-reclining seats - a major letdown for the price of admission. However, the seating was the least of my concerns once the credits rolled. Since the movie ended after 10:00 PM, the theater felt completely abandoned. With no staff in sight and the main escalators cordoned off, our exit options were grim. We avoided the elevator because someone was loitering inside with a bicycle, creating a very uncomfortable environment. We ended up taking the external "fire exit" stairs, which turned into a physical workout and left us on the far side of the complex. Having to trek all the way back to the front of the mall in the dark was a frustrating end to the night. I’d suggest skipping this location for any late-night screenings.

  XD screen is not that big and the seats in the XD room are not lounger. They are just regular seat and they make loud squeaky noise when you lean back on them.

  Wow, the mall has changed a lot... The theater was dated and almost like a ghost town as compared to a decade ago but we had a good experience overall. The staff were courteous, attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. We were lucky enough to have a whole theater to ourselves. Perhaps it wasn't a popular movie. 😂 The floor was surprisingly NOT sticky but the seats were a bit uncomfortable. I had a back ache shortly after the movie started. It makes me feel so sad because I've known this mall since youth and the movie theater as an adult. Farewell, Tanforan! Will miss you! 😢

  It's one of the few places in Tanforan that hasn't closed down...yet. Went in to see Zootopia 2. Sadly, the seats are not recliners like other theaters. Still, I had an enjoyable experience.
