- NLNomad LifeJan 23, 20261.0We decided to check out the Underground Mini Golf in Old Sacramento because we enjoy a good putt putt course and this place has a 4.9 star rating. In a review, my husband saw that someone mentioned they had military discount, but when we arrived, we were informed they do NOT offer military discount. Ok... $21 per person is insane in our opinion, but we already drove all the way here and paid for parking, so we decided to mentally say, screw it, let's do it. It must be a great course, because the ratings are so good. ....oh how wrong the reviews are. I'm alright at putt putt, but we both averaged about 2 hits per hole. 16 holes were completely flat and basically the same. 1 hole had the tiered ramp you can find at other places and the last hole had the ramp up to hole 18. We finished the course in 20-25 minutes... such a huge disappointment and what a waste of money. Not worth it at all. The murals were pretty cool and we did appreciate the spin wheel, but there needs to be more of a challenge to the course to charge so much.
