Since 1963, the Improvisation Comedy Clubs have remained the premier stages for live comedy in the United States. Over the decades, the talent who have graced Improv stages represent the Who’s Who in American comedy.
Oxnard Levity Live and Copper Blues opened in 2016, providing the perfect space for guests to enjoy live comedy and live music all in one night. As part of the Improv family, Oxnard Levity Live offers a combination of A-list comedy, good food and cocktails. The venue regularly hosts top tier comedians like Los Tres Tristes Tigres, Tom Segura, Llana Glazer, Sinbad and Nate Bargatze.
Located in the Ventura County region of Southern California, just miles from the ocean, the comedy and live music venue is found just off the 101 freeway, in the Collection Riverpark shopping center. Plentiful parking is available in the adjoining mall. A mere 50 miles from Hollywood, Oxnard Levity Live easily attracts artists and audiences from across the greater Los Angeles area.
I am really disappointed with the treatment that my close friends received (Dr. Williams and retired HSA Robin Brenson ), two mature responsible women who could have spent their money anywhere instead of Oxnard on February 25th at Jaime Fox’s show. They have been going to see his show since the 90’s without any issues. Despite being treated poorly by your staff over some “shrimp tempura” ….(shrimp tempura! Not scampi or prawns) which they can easily afford. My friends were called liars and completely disrespected BUT remained professional with your staff the entire time all while being removed from the venue. They drove over 100 miles, got a hotel room, took an Uber Black to see this show. They could have flown to Vegas, New York or anywhere to catch this show. However, they came to Oxnard. I have never heard of you but I will make sure that I tell as many people as possible about their experience .You don’t know who you could be throwing out of a show nor know who they just might know but you will find out soon. As a business owner myself, I have never heard of such LACK of customer service as your staff’s. This was a discriminatory act and an infringement on their Civil Rights. This is what can make or break a business. There was no one to that tried to show resolve nor respect for either of them. Then…..then, there was an expectation of an apology from them. Trust, this is not over! You WILL NOT hear the last of this!!!
Kindest regards,

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Levity Live in Oxnard. I planned this evening as a special surprise for my cousin’s 55th birthday because she has been a longtime fan of Jamie Foxx, going back to when he performed regularly in Los Angeles at the Regency West. We were both really excited about the show.
Unfortunately, the evening was overshadowed by poor service and the way management handled a simple billing issue. Service was very slow, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic items. When our bill arrived, we noticed a charge for shrimp tempura that was never delivered to our table. When we politely explained that we had not received the item, several staff members approached our table and immediately accused us of receiving it rather than taking the time to check what may have happened.
The situation was unnecessarily escalated during the show and became very embarrassing. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, we were ultimately removed from the showroom and not allowed to return, which caused us to miss the remainder of the performance.
This was meant to be a special birthday celebration, but it ended up being a very disappointing and upsetting experience. We traveled a long distance to attend and expected much better customer service and professionalism.

Very disappointing experience at Levity Live Oxnard on February 25, 2026 during the Jamie Foxx show. My cousin and I traveled over 100 miles and were excited to attend, but the evening quickly turned frustrating.
Service was extremely slow, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic items like utensils, napkins, and additional ranch for our wings. By the time the server returned, the food was cold.
The situation escalated when our bill included a charge for shrimp tempura that was never delivered to our table. When we calmly explained this, staff returned with several employees who immediately accused us of receiving the item and implied we were refusing to pay. Instead of checking what happened, the issue was escalated publicly during the show.
Management ultimately removed us from the showroom and denied us the opportunity to return, preventing us from seeing the remainder of the performance.
What should have been a simple billing correction turned into an embarrassing and upsetting situation. Very disappointing customer service experience.

My wife bought tickets for an event for our anniversary on 2/28 on StubHub. When we arrived they told us they no longer take StubHub tickets and that we should have bought them on their website. The show was being advertised all over StubHub and when we told them at the door they told us that it's not their problem and we should have checked the website. They informed us that they know about the StubHub problem and have no intention of fixing it. They at least offered to vouch that we didn't get in to StubHub and we were able to get a refund from StubHub but if you know this is an ongoing issue why not deal with it.

don't get me wrong. I love the comedy club one thing that I do hate that they do do is that if you are out of town and you're coming into town to watch this comedy club, you trying to get a hold of them to make sure your tickets are secure because something could happen. They do not answer. I have called so many times and they still don't pick up their phone. I have called on work hours and I've called multiple times and none of the times I was able to talk to anybody they need to really work on trying to answer the phone to help out the customers who have questions
