- RGRuby GonzalezDec 19, 20251.0Normally never come to this movie theater. I decided to come watch twilight last month and let’s just say I felt like I was in a Volaris seat. Very small and very little space to walk through. I think all stick to the Roxy Camarillo theater it’s a farther drive but you can’t beat recliner size chairs with a swivel table. They also have the same snack and even have margaritas. Wont be coming back to this theater. Even downtown Oxnard movie theater has better seats and that’s one of the oldest theaters around.

Seats are comfortable, and self-purchasing ticket either online or in person is convenient. We need to change the time about 1 hour before and they let me refund right away (excluding processing fee). However a tiny incident is their women’s restroom’s door had a sticker medal chip and it caused a small wound (with blood) on my finger.

The staff stopped us and said no outside food or drinks were allowed because “people throw trash at the screen.” I asked if I could buy popcorn or a drink inside, and they said yes… so I pointed out that, technically, I could still throw that at the screen too. No response. I’ve been to plenty of theaters before and never had this kind of rule (or excuse). If the goal is just to get people to buy food inside, at least be honest about it. It’s not a good look to blame it on imaginary popcorn attacks - at least come up with a better excuse next time.
