  We celebrated my daughter’s bday at Main Event and had a blast. Sean, the assistant general manager was great. He was very attentive and made sure we were okay . Our server Mayte was very helpful as well. She checked in multiple times to see if we got our food. Thank you Main Event Montclair!

  We had such a great experience at Main Event Entertainment! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well organized. A huge shoutout to the Assistant General Manager, Sean, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. It really made a difference to see management so involved and friendly. Also, our server Mayte was absolutely amazing! She was kind, patient, and very attentive throughout our visit. She made sure we had everything we needed and always checked in with a smile. Between the fun atmosphere, great service, and overall positive energy, we truly had a wonderful time. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable outing!

  I needed a relax self care day and I chose to go here and Cynthia and Sean really helped me escape from my daily life so I love to come here and I being around the staff here ! I recommend so much that I would pay for someone to come here !!!!! I love it here

  I was standing in line for almost a whole hour waiting to get seating in the dining area. It’s a Tuesday afternoon and the dining room isn’t even half full for it to take this long to get seated. I decided to give this place a shot with my daughter and sisters but will think about ever coming again.

  I visited Main Event tonight with my four children to have dinner, bowl, and play games. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. We were seated and waited almost 35 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Eventually, someone came by, apologized for the delay, said our server would be with us shortly, and asked if they could get us started on anything. At that point, I ordered mozzarella sticks and two drinks for my kids. We went bowling, played games, and even took the kids to the restroom. When we returned to our table, there was a tap-to-pay device placed on the table, yet we still had not received our food — nor had our actual server ever come to greet us. By this point, over an hour had passed. I noticed someone who appeared to be a manager and asked if she was one. Her response was, “I’m one of them,” which was confusing and unhelpful. She did not attempt to resolve the issue and instead went to get another manager. I had already paid online for bowling and fun cards, so I stayed only because I didn’t want to disappoint my kids. At that point, a manager offered food and brought out two orders of fries and mozzarella sticks in an attempt to fix the situation. While I appreciate the gesture, it did not come close to compensating for the lack of service and the time we had wasted. To make matters worse, our server finally came over — with an attitude. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, and zero remorse for the poor service we experienced. This was one of the worst dining and service experiences I’ve had, especially with children involved. I would never recommend this location to anyone I know.
