- FAFaith AnnNov 16, 20255.0I visited Nigel's to celebrate my best friends birthday and we had such an amazing time. We enjoyed ourselves the moment we stepped in and were greeted by the friendly staff. The atmosphere of this restaurant is gorgeous, with the interior reminding you of retro Miami. The food was delicious and the flavors definitely connected to the waterfront vibes. After dinner we were able to experience a complimentary boat ride. (I believe they are offered every wednesday and thursday, check with staff) It was such great time, throughout our experience, all of the staff were so amazing to us. Nigel's is a restaurant I would recommend for a casual dinner date, celebrating a special occasion, etc. It would be an enjoyable time! :)

On the day of my pre planned reservation, and my birthday, they cancelled stating they could not accommodate my party. That's a horrible way to run a business and an awful start to someone's special day.

We also had the calamari and tuna for appetizers and they were delicious. The drinks were perfect and the service was excellent. The extra touch was the complimentary duffy boat ride after dinner! Wednesday and Thursdays you get a 20 minute ride with your meal! It was so cool and such a great way to end the night. Highly recommend 👌

Or better service...?( which was sub par) The atmosphere is GREAT .. So maybe only for a glass of bubbles and a photo opp? They need more time! Hope this helps...

Chef Jeffrey so pleasant and giving us his advice on favorite meals and it just so happened we ordered all of them. Chicken Picata, Salmon, Lobster Roll and Trio Outstanding!!! Visiting with Nigel was incredible. Finishing the evening off with a beautiful Duffy ride with Captain Collin. We came all the way from Idaho to enjoy this wonderful new restaurant in Long Beach and to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Thank you all for the hospitality. Can’t wait to return!
