  Contemplated typing this, but seeing as of recently how their reviews dropped significantly I feel as though I have to. I have been going to this movie theatre for years. Alone, with my son, with friends and even with my nieces and nephews. We always eat at fire wings then walk over to enjoy the movie. A few days ago I was kid free and went to see the movie Send Help. My friend went to get popcorn and snacks and I came to get us beers. ( I always drink here except when with kids or driving.) Before we walked over from fire wings, I smoked my wax pen and when I walked in I was waiting in line, because no one was behind me or coming in I decided to go under the barrier (excitedly like a child ) and ask the usher welcoming people if she knew when they were going to drop their Scream merchandise. She proceeded to tell me her manager had been posting stuff on IG so soon. Now when I went under the barrier my purse fell and when i got back inline the young man walked back to get an older lady to tell me I had been cut off and she wasn’t comfortable serving me. I was so shocked and in disbelief because she walked up to me from cooking or doing whatever she was doing. I didn’t feel like explaining myself but I was in-fact off of MaryJane, I wasn’t drunk or drinking. I just politely let her know I wasn’t drunk and she could have a blessed rest of her night. So then we go sit down and my friend’s like I’ll go get the beers ( I paid for fire wings , he said he’d pay for the snacks and drinks we had at cinemark). So he goes to get them and IDK who followed him but as im watching the movie this young lady comes in gets in his face and proceeds to tell him if i so much as have a drink shes throwing us out. I was pissed because max I’ll have there is 3 beers. I was barely going to have a sip of my 1st to be treated as such was disgusting. I prefer maryjane over beer, but I also work in customer service. I think Im allowed a beer after working all week. I did not expect to be treated like a disorderly alcoholic. So I went to the restroom because after fire wings I ran across the parking lot by 24 hr fitness to drive my car closer before the movie started and I cannot make this up, when I got out of the restroom they were throwing us out. I was livid I didn’t even get to see the movie. They said they’d refund but how would they know who we were, & all that we bought? I have spent so much money on cinemark I honestly wanted to just switch to AMC, but I said I just wont return to this location. We weren’t loud, we never argued with any of the employees, but thrown out? She could’ve taken the beer when I went to the restroom. Honestly feel discriminated against. Im literally a movie lover who wanted to know when the scream merch would drop for my bestf to get her merch. To end up getting “ removed “ Still leaves a distaste in my mouth. Maybe they go through things because of the bars nearby. But I won’t be returning here. My thing is I had to pay for childcare to get thrown out before I could even watch the movie. And they had like 6 people waiting even though we were being respectful. Shit was bogus fr whole heartedly wanted to boycott because they made me seem crazy and stokers know we are too chill. ANNND as many times as fire alarms go off here and they don’t refund I’m starting to get suspicious of the workers. No refunds no nothing just false alarm as soon as we come out the theatre’s scared.
