A LEGO Paradise for Young Explorers
This destination is an absolute gem for elementary and middle school students. Unlike high-intensity theme parks, the attractions here focus on child-friendly fun rather than extreme thrills, making it a safe and welcoming environment for younger kids to explore at their own pace.
The undisputed highlight is the LEGO Shop. Boasting one of the most comprehensive collections you'll ever find, it is a dream come true for collectors looking to pick up specific sets. For those seeking a unique souvenir, the DIY miniature design workshops are a must-try. Being able to design and print your own custom creations adds a wonderful personal touch to the experience.
One thing is for certain: a single day is simply not enough to experience everything this place has to offer. Between the building zones and the interactive rides, kids will find themselves wanting more. If you are local or plan to visit often, I highly recommend investing in an annual pass. It’s the most cost-effective way to ensure your children can fully immerse themselves in the magic without feeling rushed. A fantastic spot for families!

Legoland is far too busy for the massive and obvious staffing issues. Lines are ridiculously long and when you finally get to the front it breaks. Legoland then instructs you to abandon your spot in line as they have "No Estimate of how long the ride will be down". They literally encourage you to leave the line. This happened to us THREE times on the lame galactic ride. We left the line for this ride twice thinking it was broke for the day. BUT apparently they do this regularly as later in the day the ride was up and running. After spending over 5 hours waiting in the line for this ride and being cut several times as your run from one room of lines to another room of lines. We Finally rode the lame ride and spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars for ONE roller coaster. Please, please please if your reading this AVOID LEGOLAND. Dont believe the hype this place is setup to have too many daily guests to keep you waiting and them making YOUR money. Additionally Legoland opens at 10am but many areas within Legoland DO NOT open at 10. We found this out throughout the day with places such as food, treats, sea life, and rides opening and closing at various intervals of the day, all day long. So while you pay for Legoland thinking it opens at 10am many elements are closed. Save your money and close this place.

It’s ok for what we had. Three kids under 12 and above 6.
Age range: 10 and under is better suited for this location.
Food: The food is not great, not bad. Just theme park food. So nothing bad there. Just expect theme park price and food is all.
Line waits: ridiculously long. The way to go is make sure you get fast passes. It will make the day more enjoyable and smooth. If not, the rides are way too short to be waiting over 30 minutes. There are lots of open seats on the rides where staff have not learned how to effectively move the lines along. So the line time is also resulted not only by population but also ineffective distribution onto the rides. Also, download the app and use it to help know the estimated wait times. If it says 70 minutes, it’s real! :) it may also be a little more or less. It’s an estimate.
Lego structures: pretty awesome! I wish they had signs by the structures telling us an estimated Lego count.
Hotel: I bet it’s awesome but we sadly couldn’t get into it.
Aquarium: good fun size! Our kids enjoyed this a lot. Short but a good relax or change of pace.
Waterpark: kids really liked this too. We are at the beginning of April and things were understandably closed for the season. A lot was open still and my kids loved it! Man this would be even more fun in the summer with more attractions open.
Hours of operation: I know it’s made for younger kids so I get why it’s not open later. Open it a little earlier though just to help with more crowd help. College age people will come to work.
Parking: I would make sure you have downloaded the app and buy a parking pass through the app. I would also recommend just getting a general pass if you plan on being to the park about 9-10. After it gets pretty full in the lot and a better spot is nice. That being said, what is an extra 200ft of walking to park when you are coming here. General parking works well overall i say.
Staff: we had no issues with the staff. They were very friendly with us with any questions or situations that came up. In one case in particular they were very helpful and it impacted the rest of our trip in a very good way. Big thank you!
Price: if you are spending over 80$ per day I would say you paid too much….maybe….There are two day 3 park hopper passes out there that would make the price about 55$ each day for two days =110$. If you can’t find the deal through various companies…it is still a fun experience. Now, if this is a one time thing and the individual hopper pass is 100$ per day… consider it and have a fun time with your family! Smile and don’t talk price again. Build the fun memory.
Clean: very clean experience for us. There is not trash everywhere. The plants look beautiful and clean for April.
Recommend: of course!!! If you have never been, come. It is fun and the environment is friendly. The open build areas are really fun. Shows are overall positive and enjoyable. If you have never been, consider coming while your kids/grandkids are still young. Have fun!

I did a day trip to Legoland for the first time and it was great. Last time we went we stayed overnight one night in the Legoland Castle Hotel which was amazing. This time we left early morning and got there right as the park opened and stayed until it closed. After the park we hit up the Legoland Hotel to use the restroom, play with legos, browse the gift shop and join the 8pm dance party in the lobby. It was tiring, but doable as we live about 75 minutes away in decent traffic.
We went on the new Galacticoaster the first thing. Everyone seemed to have the same idea as the line wait was over an hour long. The staff started letting groups of 2 enter the single rider line so that cut our wait down to 15-20 mins. Afterwards we hit up the little ones favorite ride, UniKitty Disco. The wait there was about half an hour so that was hard for them. We went back to Galaxyland to ride the G-Force ride but it was another 30 minute wait so we went to the Waterpark instead and enjoyed the lazy river. We were able to find lounge chairs there but it would have been harder if there were more than 2 of us. We got there around 12pm.
We ate our own snacks that I brought but did end up buying popcorn, a soft pretzel and some dippin dots. All in all it was a great day. We ended up riding about 5 rides, a few more than once since the lines were very short in the late afternoon/early evening. We also hit up 2 playground areas that my little one loved. We entered the aquarium around 7:15pm and stayed until 7:45pm. My little one enjoyed the exhibits where she could put her face in the middle of the tank as well as the touch tank. I like that they are flexible on closing times as they understand they are dealing with young kids.
I couldn't find a quick place to grab food at the Legoland Hotel so I ordered a vegan burger, fries and a vanilla shake from a restaurant down the road called Moo Yah. That was enough to fill out stomachs and keep me awake for the drive home.
Next time, I'm considering staying at the Castle Hotel and doing two days in the park. I bought Platinum annual passes so we'll definitely be back at least once or twice this year to make it worth it. Everything was awesome!!

I don't like the parking situation for hotel resort guests.Hotel resort guest should be top priority along with valet. I shouldn't have to park 5-7 aisles down from the hotel because it's packed with a mixture of overcrowded guest stay and guest who are coming in just for the theme park.
Staff at the castle hotel are polite, nice and helpful. The nice thing is even though you may be staying at a particular hotel you can dine at both hotel restaurants and I believe use both of their pools as well. Restaurant staff at the Legoland hotel were super informative there vs the one we stayed at which was the castle. The server at the hotel we weren't even staying at informed us of the lanyards with the pop badges, being our first time I wish the castle staff would have informed us as we were already on day 4 of our 5 day stay when we were told about it. Which by the way nearly no staff member has these pop badges on them, makes no sense.
They offer guest self laundry service. We unfortunately were not able to use it as there's a line of people also waiting to wash.
For guest staying at the hotel you get early entry into the park. However, there are only about 3-4 rides you get access to the rest open up at 10.
And for early entry make sure you get there maybe 20-30 mins before because there's already a line forming to get in.
We had an issue with an employee scanning one of our 2 day tickets twice which caused an issue on the 2nd day we returned. We normally don't complain but with a 10 month old and getting up extra early to get to early entry just to be turned away and told to go to guest services to fix it is beyond me. Why do I need to fix something I didn't cause? For the inconvenience they caused us they should be the ones to walk over and fix it.
Lines for the rides are expected to be long. They have fast track options for extra charge to get through the line quicker, don't wait on getting it or else you'll miss out, they tend to sell out for the day and you are only left with the option of the fast track one shot which prices varies depending on the ride. This even applies if you already have a particular fast track level and want to upgrade.
The lifeguards at the pool are dedicated. We went to the pool nearly every day and each time the lifeguards took their role serious. There was an incident and one of the lifeguards took action right away. Staff at the pool bar and grill were also nice.
