The Happiest Place on Earth! We spent 3 days at Disneyland & California Adventure celebrating my 35th Birthday. I haven't been in 9 years and my boyfriend hadn't been since he was about 10 years old. We had a great time, we visited during the week in early February and there were minimal ride closures for maintenance as well as lines moving quickly. I have always been a fan of Disneyland - growing up in Southern California, I spent many years celebrating my Birthday at the parks. We were able to join in California Adventures Lunar New Year Celebration. The staff and crew members were so friendly and always happy to assist. We stopped by Town Hall upon our arrival to get my "Birthday" badge as well has my boyfriend's Celebratory badge. Disney staff is always amazing at ensuring you feel celebrated on your birthday. The longest line we waited in was for Guardians of the Galaxy and the wait was only about 50 minutes. I had never been on this ride (even before when it was Tower of Terror) as I was afraid to go on it when I was younger, this ended up being one of my absolute favorite rides and I was bummed we only got to ride it once. We enjoyed the Lunar New Year Parade, taking photos with horse. Cars Land was among my favorites. We had one of the greatest photographers take amazing photos of us in Hollywood Land. This was such an amazing time and am looking forward to our next visit.

When your almost to the stairs at incredacoaster and they say the ride is closed at 8:03 pm and take the ppl in front of you and the park closes at 9.. plus disabled needing a double hip replacement, knee replacement and shoulder surgery with spinal stenosis and fibromyalgia and 10 bulged disks... tell me you wouldn't be irritated... I mean seriously other words would better describe it.. like heated, angry amongst wanting to shut down the power ranger moves you wish you could do what they do to villians... ... it just started to replay.. but God is bigger!! That's how you know someone's learned how to tame the attitude plus it upset my daughter and that made it worse.. they weren't rude, but lacked empathy. No care or concern.

What a huge disappointment! Went on Feb 8th park was not to busy according to certain people who frequent visit. I have not been since 2019 and few times before and always had a good time. This time, not great at all! We went for my daughter’s 23rd birthday. DCA on 8th and DL on the 9th. Let’s get into where the problems were. EVERY SINGLE RIDE WAS BROKEN DOWN WHILE STANDING IN LINE! 45 +min in.. while standing and waiting they would announce the ride is delayed and broken… even while buying into Lightning Lanes this really put a damper on the whole day. I understand things happen and mechanics fail but you’re charging so much money and so many people count on memories to be made it’s not fair. We don’t get a redo of time lost we could be making memories together. we don’t get to do that again. All of our day was wasted standing in line because of your mechanical failures. For the expectation people hold you to and as much money as Disneyland charges, y’all really need to do better!! My visit, review and feedback probably don’t matter to Disneyland but think of the people who travel Far and wide with littles who dream about these moments…

Disney California Adventure Park is one of the most entertaining theme parks in Southern California and a great complement to Disneyland Park. The park blends classic Disney storytelling with California-inspired themes, incredible rides, and some of the best food inside any Disney park. The highlight for many visitors is Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land. The level of detail in that area is amazing, especially at night when the neon lights turn on and the whole land feels like you stepped into the Cars movie. Another favorite is Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, which is fast, funny, and one of the most exciting rides in the park. The park is also great just to walk around. Pixar Pier, Avengers Campus, and the waterfront views near Paradise Bay make it easy to spend an entire day exploring. There are plenty of places to grab food, relax, and watch live entertainment. Between the rides, the theming, and the atmosphere, Disney California Adventure delivers a full day of fun for families, couples, and Disney fans.

As an annual pass holder, I decided to try a solo trip to Disneyland and California Adventure. It turns out that Disneyland has 5 rides that support "Single Rider" and California Adventures has 6 rides. Note: you can be part of a group to go to a Single Rider line if you don't mind breaking up your group and potentially sitting with people you don't know. Also, each member of your group may get on the ride at different times. So, members of your group may be at the exit, riding the ride, and still be waiting to get on the ride. In California Adventures, the "Single Rider" supported rides include "Soarin'", "Spiderman", "Radiator Springs Racer", "Incredicoaster", "Goofy's Sky School", and "Grizzly River Run". I didn't ride "Goofy's Sky School" and "Grizzly River Run" was closed, so I will not cover those rides here. In "Soarin'", go straight to the entrance and inform the Cast Member there that you are a single rider. The Cast Member will hand you a ticket and tell you to follow them. They will take you inside and tell you to wait at a line on the far right side. Stay there until a Cast Member calls for single riders and tells you where to go. This will lead you to another line. Stay there until a Cast Member calls you and tell you what section to go to. Note: single rider support is not guaranteed here. If a certain ridership percentage is not reached, they will not hand out tickets and you have to wait in the "Standby" line. Also, the wait in the single rider line can seem like it's taking a long time before being called in. Be patient. Remember that you didn't have to wait in that hour long line. In "Spiderman", there is actually a "Single Rider" line. At the entrance, tell the Cast Member in front that you are a single rider. The Cast Member will point to the center line. Go there and wait to be let in. The wait is usually not that long. In "Radiator Springs Racer", at the entrance, there is a "Single Rider" line on the left side. Follow the path to the end of line. This line can look long, but the wait is usually 15 minutes or so faster than the Standby line. An announcement is usually broadcasted encouraging riders to take the "Single Rider" line saying what the wait time difference is. The line will lead to a Cast Member who will point to another short line when it's your turn. In the "Incredicoaster", the "Single Rider" line is not at the entrance. It is on the pier near where the coaster is launched. There will be a sign on a stand stating the entrance. The line may look long, but it's not. The wait however can be long. Follow the path until a Cast Member tells you to stop. There are 4 stop points in this line: just before you enter the path (you will receive a ticket to before you enter), at the end of the path, near the boarding area, and when you exit the second elevator. After the third stop point, you ride an elevator up to the 2nd floor, turn left when exiting to the next elevator, and then take that elevator back down. Upon exiting, there is a tiny waiting space. There is no line here. Wait there until a Cast Member calls for single rider.
